Almost. We still have a ton of requirements to pass and school stuff to do, but we did it. Weâve been through way worse, I know we can do it. It just seems funny that we still seem to act like the fresh elementary school graduates we were back then, three years ago â only with our blue book cases and fancy pencil holders removed. We still need to adjust when the busy weeks and days come. We still complain with our adu la amins. I admit, [junior] high school had the high bumps we never had thought of with our two-homeworks-a-day-is-too-much minds then. Itâs been a really tough ride for me, personally. [I never imagined myself crying over an unfinished movie trailer.] It had its high highs but with deeper lows. But, it was easier with you (winks).
And congratulations, too, by the way. You have endured [almost] four years being with people who you thought then were super mataray and lowkey nangangain ng tao. But, honestly, once we got to know each other, once we hid from a teacher in a press room with each other, we knew high school lifeâs not that bad. You, people, made these four years a lot easier. You make things seem so easy that we can decide to join a contest two hours before it happens â not to mention that that includes winning first place. Itâs been four years na pala â four memorable ones. It was so quick we havenât notice how Felmarâs hairstyle had changed. And with that length of time, I believe we have completely de-labeled each other as strangers. We became more than that to each other. We became each otherâs complement. We became what each other exactly needed to finish the race. But now the time has come. The race is about to finish.
I could not help but endure the pain (while writing this) knowing the fact that there will come a time - when we grow up, have families and children of our own - that all of these will just be memories, the good olâdays as one would suggest. Seeing each other develop their potentials, find connections with each other and stand up after every defeat for about six percent of their lives makes me wonder. Why should we get to know faces, make bonds with them, at the peak of our youth, with our highly emotional states, just to lose them later?
Sad, but lifeâs like that. You donât get to choose what to remain and what to let loose. For now, we just need to seize every second left. We can still make golden memories in two weeks right?
Weâre now left with so far the biggest challenge we, as a class have to jump over. But even though if it is up to be, it is more up to the class than up to me. Thank you for everything. I sincerely love you all. In fact, I tried to make this as sincere as it can. Hereâs for the trillion times we became mangibabain.
We hardly shared a glance
To greet and know each other
Binarao. We barely talked. But I like how our conversations go at the few times they happen. It seems like we both agree in everything we say. I think you couldâve been a great tablemate, too.
Salve. Keep the faith. Donât let pessimism bring you down. Thereâs more to life than burdens and tears. For example, in life, it all boils down to either believing what other says about you or letting that fire, with so much potential keep burning.
Micah. Iâm amazed by how you tend to have high scores despite only going to school when you want. Continue being a good person. You are the perfect you. You are smart, kind and beautiful.
Jonard. Iâll always remember you as the boy who sings with the curls. Continue your passion for singing. And, I like how you seem so strong to everyone else. In fact Iâll always picture you in my mind with a smile.
Buena. You are still the girl I know since eighth grade â kind and smart. I admire how you always protect your friends from everyone who try to hurt them. I hope youâll see your K-Pop idols in person one day.
Precious. Remain kind and the person that you are. You are a perfect mixture between an open door and a limit sign.
Karen. I admire you for being strong. Stay kind. Remain in the vicinity of equally kind peers.
Aaron. You are good in drawing anime characters. I just advise you to socialize more and make even better connections with others. You have constant bursts of good ideas.
Joanna. Thank you for the notes. Those saved me from lower scores. You seem to be a friend to all of us â like someone everyone can talk to. I wish for your height dreams to come true. I know it will, trust me.
John Roe. Continue being a model Christian to everyone else. Sorry for the times we made fun of how you say sena. Keep the faith! I admire how you continue to live by the Word despite the tempting pressures of the classroom.
Lau. I hated you at many points in high school but I made those my motivation. Remember when you told me that we wonât win in PNSQ? Well we did. Take that as a compliment. Continue finding yourself. And always fight for what you think is right. Thank you for everything.
Kryssha. You were my classmate since elementary level and a tablemate for the whole year. Thank you for the teamwork. Dream bigger, for I know you are capable. Thank you for always inviting me in celebrations, by the way.
Editha. We were schoolmates back then but I didnât hear much about you. But at least, this time, we got to be classmates. Continue fighting for what you think is right. Thatâs what the country needs right now. I wish, too, for your height dreams to come true.
Somehow Iâm feeling sad
I know Iâm gonna miss you
Judee. Iâll miss you, Judee. Iâll always cherish the memories we had in Pisay and during RICE. Continue being the good speaker, writer and speller that you are. I advise you to spend a little bit more time in your studies like what you did in G7 and G8. Thank you for everything. I hope weâll still be good friends even though youâll move to another school.
Kath. Thank you MTAPmate! I admire how you adjust with my attitude and how you are always in to my plans like the one when we tried to pre-enroll in Tugsay. I hope weâll have way more memories in SHS. You are better than the person that I pictured you to be. Continue being better.
Jeanelle. Thank you for all Team! You were flexible enough to deal with my jokes. You are smart, beautiful and kind. I wish for more memories with you in SHS. I mean all of these with all of my gratitude.
Janae. Thank you for being a good friend. I hope weâll still be friends even in SHS. You are a good companion. You have so many stories to tell. Promise me that youâll dominate CNHSâABM.
And fill each otherâs cup
CJ. You were my classmate since second grade. I admire how you pursue for whatâs right. Just be less short-tempered and loosen up a bit. Donât be over protective to yourself, you have great people around you.
Telle. I always tease you for crying in sixth grade just because I used the broom youâre using to clean my area. Congratulations to your achievements. Continue striving for higher heights. Thank you for everything.
Harvey. You are a cool boy. You seem like someone anyone can talk to. I admire you for continually trying. Thereâs something out there for you. Let the universe do its thing. Opportunities come in weird ways.
Timi. Continue being a good boy despite what others might say. Iâve always admired how you always use yourself to cover up the faults of our classmates as how MaĂĄm Gemma said. Dream bigger. I hope youâll be a good IT worker in the future. God bless you always.
Darylle. My tablemate! You are one of the weirdly funny ones in the class. Remain the girl that you are âcause your personality neither attracts so much nor pushes away people. Stay kind and happy.
Andal. You are the good boy of the class. Everyone admires you for that. You were a nice tablemate. We may have not talked to each other that much but I think you might have been a good friend. Dream bigger. You donât know what you are capable of.
Still thereâs one more thing
Ronnie. You are one of the cheerfulness powerhouse of the class. I admire how you stay confident despite what others might say. I like, too, how you always dare to volunteer and be brave. You are a star.
Emil. We barely talked, but when we do, it was all fun. I thought you were not that nice when I first knew you. But here we are, weâve come to this point. I even already saw you cry. I advise you to be better in doing your responsibilities.
Calvo. Ange, youâre the girl with the richest laugh. It radiates to everyone. I hope those are always genuine. Keep laughing.
Freidrich. You always surprise everyone with your personality, one like your Ate. Everyone likes you. Donât give up on your goals. Set your dreams higher, for you are capable. Thank you for everything. If you have something to say, donât hesitate to say it to me.
Julia. Youâre one of the people in the class with the most efficient data storing abilities in their heads. Continue being kind. Step out of your comfort zone every once in a while.
Whesley. I advise you to be less short-tempered. You can do so many things but what matters the most with all of those is how you deal with people. It all boils down to giving your service to others. You are quite a good friend when youâre not in your mad Whesley form.
Before the lightâs are gone
Before the curtain closes, let me
Ryan. You were my classmate since second grade. I admire how you think â itâs not the conventional type yet your ideas make sense. I believe you need to know what to focus at. Set your goals. May God bless your life in UST. Congrats! (I kind of missed the times when we were still that closer, while writing this.)
Kat. You are a kind person. You always give food to me. Nah, just kidding. I admire how you start tackling your problems â with a smile. But sometimes, you end up being pushed hard that you break down. Donât let the pressure beat you. Youâre better than that. You deserve more.
Karlos. You are a silent dreamer. You, too, have a surprising personality. Step out of your comfort zone. Iâm glad youâre still the Karlos Iâve known since second grade. But a little effort wonât hurt. I know you can do better.
Daryll. I like how you still and up laughing despite teachers getting angry at you. Just remember that you need to focus on your priorities. Schooling is fun, but it is not a game. Thank you for the memories, especially as an SSG officer.
Kezia. You were a quiet one, then. But once I got to know you, I was able to hear your loud ideas. You are kind â one of the kindest in class, in fact. You can be pictured in the mind as a smiling girl easily, maybe, because itâs natural. I think you should try new things, by the way. Youâll be incredible in whatever you do.
Thank you for playing my music
Thank you for singing my song
Karissa. I thought youâre one of the happiest in class, until one moment in February. Cheer up. We can do it. You have a lot of people around you to talk to. Open up. Iâll always cherish the class moments you made happen. Staymangibabain, we need those every once in a while.
Yran. Thank you for always asking how I felt. I wish you the best for SHS. Just donât let problems bring you down. I know you know you can do it. Youâre strong but be stronger. In my best moments of JHS, you were always there. I hope you find happiness.
Ayra. I admire you for being still one of the kindest and most cheerful in class. You are good at balancing social life and studies. I hope you continually be happy, because I know you already are. Just keep the negatives away. Just ask me if you have something to say, donât have second thoughts.
Nina. With a lot of my best moments in JHS, you were there, too. Thank you for being one of the laughter powerhouse of the class. Just argue less with others because they might dominate otherâs positive view of you. But, you are a great companion. Remember when I went out to SM with you? That was fun. Thank you for everything.
Thank you for sparing a moment
âCause with you I feel I really belong

Continue making people happy, Thank you for everything, Kenneth!

Jem. You are so good at memorizing stuff. Youâre one of the people in class with the most efficient data storing minds. Continue striving for a more competent you. You are more than able. I admire, by the way, your deep Filipino vocab. I hope to make more memories with you.
Dokie. Kristel, I admire you for being a strong girl in class. You are independent. You have your own views and opinions â both of which are genuinely yours. You can take a quiz by yourself and thatâs cool. I hope youâll always be happy. Thank you for being one who everyone can throw a joke to. Just remember to keep the negatives away. Letâs make more memories.
Thank you for keeping me company
Thank you for being my friend

May God bless you always, ABCD!

Find happiness in the things that you do.
And if our paths should cross somewhere, someday
Iâd love to sing this song again
MaĂĄm Rose. You are one of the most approachable teachers I ever had. You know your studentsâ needs. Youâre always one of the first to congratulate me every after victory. You, indeed, are a teacher mom. Thank you for the memories, MaĂĄm. Your flexibility made those all possible. I wish we had more time with each other. I hope that youâll be genuinely happy in life. God bless po.
Sir Reeke. What I said to you at the fifth of March 2018 is true. Thank you for teaching with passion. I liked statistics because of the way you teach and make your students work. You know the memories we as a class had with you. Weâll always cherish those. Thank you for everything Sir, I mean it. I wish for a less stressful atmosphere for you. May you continue inspiring students.
MaĂĄm Gemma. Thank you for always motivating us when we join contests. Theyâre a driving force for us to do better and strive for excellence. You are a balance of a strict teacher and a caring Mom. Thank you for the laughs and the lessons MaĂĄm. Weâll miss you.
MaĂĄm Vilma. You always have believed in me since you knew me back in grade school. It is evident on how you trust on my skills as an editorial cartoonist. I like your stories, MaĂĄm. They are quite engaging yet still donât go off road from the topic. Iâll miss your periodically changing strictness and looseness, MaĂĄm.
Sir Edmund. I believe, Sir, you really love the SSG. In fact, you really love your officers. You are a mix of a teacher in class and a friend outside. All of those are genuine and were from the deepest of my heart. I want to put so much effort to this that I only slept for two hours just to finish this message to all of you.
Three. Two. One. Time is up.
We need to say goodbye and wish everyone good luck. It will be difficult but in the end weâll all realize what makes farewells so painful. It is not the fact that two roads part ways that makes separation a tear to the heart. It is the fear that those two will never meet again. So to those who feel like this is the end for the all of us, cheer up. The only goodbyes that we should worry about are the ones weâll say to each other for the last time â and this is definitely not it.
Thank you mga asi, mga mangibabain, and mga naka-duty kagabi sa Gold Bar! The memories we had will always have a special place in my heart. To never forget is the key. For as one tends to remember, the bond is alive.
Thank you once again. Hereâs to the golden times we had. I love you all.
*I really cried writing this one.
