I'm writing a novel for fun about the bad sides of the entertainment industry mixed with magic and other things. There's four of them but I only could do three for the task I was given which was turning them into villains which I am 100% adding to my novel because I think I cooked
I'm just gonna copy and paste my writing for them lol
Fallen Hero - Unforgiven/Outcast:
My fallen hero is Rain, the lead dancer of my group, to follow the theme of how corrupted Idol groups are in the background. Rain is considered a “hero” due to his bubbly personality and being the most lovable in the group. He falls from this stardom though when he is caught with having a girlfriend on the outside, causing him to lose the trust and love of his female fans. To save their reputation, the entertainment industry drops Rain. Despite the idol group being told that he left on his own volition, Rain believes that all of his friends and fans have abandoned and forgotten about him, even his girlfriend leaving him after seeing the depression he enters. The nail in the coffin is Rain’s mother, whose hospital bills were relying on Rain’s paycheck, so after he was fired, he could no longer afford the bills and she ended up dying. Abandoned and alone, he seeks revenge to get each member of his group kicked out similarly to him as well as bankrupting the entertainment company he was contracted with through becoming the same paparazzi type that revealed his lover and causing this mess in the first place.
Redeemable Villain - Transform for the Better
My redeemable villain is Hope, the lead singer as well as main Idol within the group who is considered the favorite among fans. He originally gets hired by the company to watch Note, the original leader of the group as lead singer, who Hope takes the place of due to a mutation. He is tasked to find an opening to give Note to the government through growing close to Note, with the reward of debuting alone. After help from Rain succeeding in breaking up the idol group, Hope successfully betrays Note, who thought of him as his best friend, leading to Note being sent to a lab as a test rat while Hope is allowed to be the only one to remain an Idol alone. Over time, he realizes the state of Note, how he’s gotten worse rather than better and starts to feel sympathy when remembering all the good times they had together and how more important being an Idol was to Note than Hope. This causes Hope to sneak Note out and free him, however Note is far too gone to ever live a normal life again.
Circumstantial Villain - Broken Soul
My circumstantial villain is Note, the original lead singer now turned backup singer. He becomes an Idol to hide his mutation where he has heightened senses, strength, immune system, etc, basically causing him to be a better human in all ways. After realizing he was invincible, he became a target for the government to be researched to give his mutation to the rest of the people. However, after knowing this, Note becomes an Idol to put himself in the public spotlight which makes it impossible to be taken and tortured, which ends up making him love the profession the most. However, after being betrayed by Rain, who breaks up the Idol group and causes him to be an easy target, as well as Hope, who helps the government capture him by becoming his most trusted ally, his greatest fears become reality. With scientists constantly torturing him for answers as well as causing his mutation to run rampant, he ends up losing his mind as well as control of his body. After Hope releases him, he runs off only instinct, not understanding anything around him except that they are enemies, causing him to go on a rampage of murder still in his hospital gown.
I know Note's is the most unrealistic but he's the "magic" aspect of my story
