you can’t read a few text posts on tumblr and reblog a couple pictures of black lives matters and think you’re not racist. racism is a deeply engrained part of our culture - sometimes it’s not even conscious. you have to constantly question yourself. it’s pretty hard to unlearn 400+ years of institutional racism and in order for us to properly dismantle systems of injustice, we have to stop pretending we all aren’t part of the problem.

dad!gray and mom!y/n get into an argument and their children wonder why they aren’t talking and they’re just standing there awkwardly with out an explanation
“i don’t know if you’ve noticed, but i don’t have all the time in the world.” grayson sarcastically spits out as he takes a sip of his coffee, turning in his office chair at the head of the narrow table, ethan sitting next to him, looking up at you with guilty eyes.
ethan stands up from his chair giving a slight nod to his younger brother and stepping out of the room, probably to go eat everything in your fridge or watch netflix. “i’ll let you two talk.”
“go home to your wife, ethan,” you order him as he shuts the door behind him and you lock it shot, hearing him grumble a ‘sure’ from the other side.
“i’m asking you to go to the daddy-daughter dance, that sapphire wants you to-”
“well tell her i said no, my day is full of wakeheart meetings tomorrow night.”
“when have you ever said no to your daughter grayson, you love her, grayson. there’s two of you, ethan hasn’t got a child. he can do the meetings and just tell you. sapphire has one dad, and whether you like it or not, you are her dad!” you argue, feeling the tears fill your eyes, hormones raging as your blood boils.
he sits there, straight-face as he ignores you, not even having the audacity to look up from his notepad and that is what makes you unlock the door and slam it behind you.
grayson’s heart broke as soon as he heard the door slam. tears fell from his eyes, hitting his notepad and making all the ink on the page smeared. he couldn’t even bring himself to go to your shared bedroom, bringing him to face his first night on the couch.
grayson woke up that morning to the sound of tiny feet running along the wooden floors, a small smile knowing his five-year-old is approaching him.
“daddy, why are you on the couch?” she asks as she stands in front of him, grayson looking at her sideways as he rests his head against the decorative pillows that you once had a debate with him about if they went with the couch or not.
he sits up quickly, smile fiding and big hands coming up to rub his tired eyes. “must’ve fallen asleep watching a movie, princess.” just as he spits out the excuse the smell of bacon fills his nose. “ma, making breakfast?” he asks his daughter which she replies with an eager nod.
“she said she would make me eggs, but i want you to do it. like usual.” sapphire asking grayson to make eggs really made him realise how he can never say no to his daughter. when he enters the kitchen to make his daughter her eggs, grayson was disappointed to see you look away from him as you mix the vegan pancake mix for him.
grayson silently cracks an egg into a pan as you pour your mix into another, it’s awkward since you are so close, whereas normally he would have an arm around you, pulling you even closer.
“daddy?” sapphire sings from the dining room table, staring at the awkward encounter her parents are sharing. grayson hums in reply and she speaks up once again. “why are you and ma not speaking?” you and grayson instantly stiffen and for the first time since last night, the both of you share eye contact.
it feels like hours you both stand there and you swear you can smell that side of the pancake burning. “just tired, bub.” you croak out an excuse, turning back to the pancake to flip it.
grayson slides the finished eggs onto the plate that already had the strips of bacon on that you cooked. “there you go, princess.” grayson grumbles as he puts the plate in front of your daughter watching her face light up.
it was barely seconds until grayson’s arms wrap around your waist, chin resting on your shoulder, sighing in relief as you lean back into his warm body. “i’m sorry. you were right. i love my girls so much.”
“daddy, are you coming to the daddy-daughter dance tonight?” sapphire speaks with her mouth full of food and you look at your husband who’s eyes are already on you.
“of course, my angel.”
Could you put the hottest/ your favorite pics of Gray? I’m in need pls thank you!!
here ya go!
Hi guys Just watched their doc and it has opened up my eyes. My family has dealt with cancer in the past. My grandma had breast cancer twice. She was able to fight through it both times. She is stronger than ever now even still with false scares of it returning
Now her husband. The only grandpa I have ever known, just last week found out that there is a 95% chance of him having a tumor so he may possibly have cancer. Seeing this documentary was really touching and made me so emotional. I never cried this much over a video . It made me think about my situation and those who are going through something serious and terrifying as cancer.
This documentary is going to help so many. I am so proud of the twins. This documentary is also showing how not everything we see online is fully portraying what they really feel. Behind a screen you may see the twins happy and smiling but this doc just proves to you that it's not always the case. With this documentary they are opening about the real and raw emotions they feel . They aren't hiding it from us. I am eternally grateful that they were able to share what they truly feel and what they went through with us fans and viewers. This is going to impact so many people in many postive ways.
So pls guys, I encourage for you guys to see it. They have created their own organization called #LoveFromSean w/ all the money they raise, they are going to be helping MULTIPLE cancer organizations. If you have the chance to even donate a $1 PLS do bc even a $1 makes a difference.

She was able to fight through it both times. She is stronger than ever now even still with false scares of it returning. When I turned 15 I had a quinceanera. The night of my party my little cousin who was 2 at the time wasnt feeling well. That night was the start of his journey. He had leukemia. He was the strongest little boy I have ever seen. He, a 2 year old boy was able to fight and beat leukemia.
Now my grandpa. My moms dad. The only grandpa I have ever known, just last week found out that there is a 95% chance of him having a tumor so he may possibly have cancer.
