Amazing pine trees, as far as the eye can see! Love Spain & #love the #costablanca. Did you know the pine tree (pinus pinaster) which is native to the Mediterranean contains an ingredient called Pycnogenol. This product which is extracted from the bark is sold with the purposes of treating many problems including circulation problems, allergies, asthma, ringing in the ears, high blood pressure, diabetes plus many other common problems. 🌲🌲🌲☀️☀️☀️

One of the arches from the Sierra de Bernia fort. Built in 1562 and used for only 50 years as a military outpost. It's location had the perfect vantage point for looking for encroaching Berber pirates along the bay of Altea.
