My hot take is that a sung Latin Novus ordo Mass is, in a sense, the worst of both worlds and its proponents' assertion of "this is what it *should* be like" makes me want to scream

Just went to Ikea...I think the tide is finally turning against millennial gray
books should have a bloopers section with all the most memorable typos
Look at my birthday cake...
I am so ready for my banana cake with cream cheese frosting and chocolate ganache
I don't have enough cream to make the ganache 😬

We have seen homes that tried to look like castles, and small homes that were castle wannabe’s. This, however, is the closest I’ve see to a real castle and it’s in Rochester, Michigan.
There isn’t a moat, but the front entrance does mimic the look of a drawbridge.
There have to knights in a castle. This one has a lot of wood, but it’s lighter than the dark medieval style. Owner’s preference.
Of course, there has to be a grand staircase.
And, a castle also needs a great room.
The kitchen.
And, the royal chamber.
This is what you see when lying in the bed, looking up.
This is the main bedroom’s ensuite.
It’s a relatively small castle, b/c there are only 4 bedrooms. In this, the 2nd bdrm., is a trap door in the floor.
Which leads to the 3rd bedroom.
And, another bath.
The 4th bedroom.
This is the home office with a loft and the door in bookcase is a safe room.
This is a craft room with a drop down work table. The shelving also tucks away.
The hall of mirrors looks like fun.
The home has secret staircases and hidden rooms, but I don’t think that this one is a secret.
And, this is the bar.
This looks like an interesting area.
The garages are on the east side of the building.
The garage is very beautiful inside, also.
The gates look like they include watch towers.
Aerial view of the surrounding area.

I’m not listening to anything a man has to say when I can see his ankles sticking out from the bottom of his pant leg.
Why tf are you not wearing socks? Why tf are you in some high waters?
Immediately I don’t give af about what you have to say.
Lots of drama in our household
Screaming crying and throwing up because my warm toned light bulbs haven't shipped yet
My patience is being TRIED
The first set I ordered for the kitchen do not work, they are LEDs that are not compatible with the fluorescent ballasts
The second set are LEDs and they work, but they are ugly because the cap on the end makes a dark spot, and if you turn the lights off and then on again they are super dim, and you have to leave them off for a while before they turn back on to full brightness (this seems wrong and I don't want to start a fire)
The third set are CFs and they are the wrong shape for the outlet due to the slightest repositioning of the plastic tab thing
I forgot to post for the 75th anniversary of this performance (July 3, 1951) and I am mortified:
Callas's high E-flat at 2:28 that swallows the entire orchestra and chorus is the most astounding feat of vocalism on record. The one guy in the audience who just starts screaming before she even finishes is literally me.
everything is truly so terrible but i just remembered doreen ketchens playing clarinet for her infant grandson and then i was kind of okay again for 36 seconds
I have to reblog this when it comes back around.
as a child i assumed that martha’s vineyard was a fancy private vineyard owned by martha stewart and the reason rich people vacationed there was because they were friends with martha

The Visitation, a limestone sculpture with traces of polychrome dated c. 1525 and attributed to Nicolas Halins, is one of the most beautiful pieces of art in the church of Saint-Jean-au-Marché. It depicts the visit of Mary, who was pregnant with Jesus, to Elizabeth, who was pregnant with John the Baptist. They wear Renaissance clothing of great complexity, with much-admired folds and embroidery on the two dresses. The sculptor added details of surprising precision, including a purse and a set of keys on Elizabeth’s belt, a prayer book in Mary’s hand, and a thread of pearls in her hair.
