Average Weight
Can someone please tell me why in America being the Average weight for your size is considered someone to be obese? In some countries (like Africa) being an average weight is a blessing, but here its seen as ugly to the point of gross. I am 5′1 and weight 130 lbs. Which is an Average weight for my size my BMI is 24.6 which is in the range of what it should be. Growing up I was 5′1 and weighed 90 lbs or less. Making my BMI 17 which is under weight for my size. Why is one that is healthy considered ugly but the one that I had when I was anorexic beautiful? Something is wrong with this mentality.
Marilyn Monroe did not have a 6 pack but was still considered on of the great beauty of our times. She didn’t starve herself so that she could be considered beautiful to anyone else but her self. She was an average weight. She had stretch marks. She was beautiful both inside and out.

She wasn’t a size 0 and owned who she was. She is the inspiration that young girls need to learn more from. Not the magazines that show people with no boobs, no butts, and can probably still fit into large children’s clothing. People need more strong average woman to look up to in this world who relay the message that its okay if you don’t look like the models that have eating disorders. Be healthy and be beautiful. If you are an average weight and some one calls you fat and ugly... Screw them they probably aren’t worthy enough to be graced with your presence anyways.
I am extremely curious though when did Marilyn Monroe stop being the ideal woman and this become something to strive for...
I truly do not understand what is wrong with our society today. Eat a slice of pie and have self confidence to know that you are pretty... even if you are an Average weight and know that its not some thing to be ashamed of. Its some thing to be proud of. #happy2beAverage.

Because she makes him a better person and he understands with perfect clarity exactly what she is... and that’s one hell of a woman. Not only does he understand that fact but he also treats as so 100% of the time. He never tries to control her or tell her what she can’t do, because he believes that she can truly do anything. He didn’t kill her boyfriends mom to spite her he did it cause Tyler is an ass whole. He bit her to prove a point but also knew that she was strong enough to take it. He knew that if given the choice between herself being bit and anyone else being bit. She would choose herself so with that in mind did exactly what he knew she would want. He tormented all her friends because they were trying to KILL him, and despite everything he saw himself as a monster. It was manifest destiny but because Caroline saw his humanity he began to change for her. Even without her he is still becoming a better man because she inspired him. She was the spark that ignited his humanity to surface and he is only one to ever choose her first. Matt dated Elena first, Tyler in the books went after Elena First than settled for Caroline after she rejected him, Damon went after Elena first than used Caroline, and Stefan chose Elena first and only got with Caroline when Elena left him for his brother. Every year about this time I cannot help my have mind wonder back to my first crush, and probably the only man who I ever was a little ‘Fan girl’ over.
I’ll never forget being in the theater and hearing of his death. It was one of the very few times in my life that I have ever cried in public. Because of everything that he stood for in my mind.
That its okay to be different from the people around you.
That it’s okay to dance in front of everyone and be overly romantic if you feel like it.
That sarcasm can be used for more than just a defense mechanism, but also to convey the message of just how little fucks you have to give.
To never let anyone tell you that your not pretty, because you should know that you are without a doubt in your mind always.
Because every one should ALWAYS do what ever it takes to get what they want.
That it is possible to have fun and be romantic all at the same time (Which is important for a 7 year old to know)
That the best guys are the ones that always have original pick up lines.

As a regular man he helped me realize that I need to live my life for myself and no one else.
I don’t think that I’ll ever be able to understand why died or what it took to get such a great man to that sort of place in his life. All I know is that every thing he taught me with the movies he was in or who was in general will be in my mind ever day of my life. He was such a big part of my child hood. Every time I think of him I always remember with out fail all these things, and if I can inspire one person in my life a fraction of the he influenced my life... I would consider myself lucky.
