The distance between you and Kun is minimal, his minty breath hitting your face as your best friend of 8 years- for whom you had unfortunately developed feelings- stands so, so close to you. Both of you know what’s going to happen, but are waiting for the other one to make a move first. You’ve loved this boy for 3 years, hating that you could never reveal your true feelings and just kiss the living daylights out of him.
You finally lose patience and surge forward, your mouths meeting in a soft, sweet kiss. Kun kisses exactly as you expected- like a beginner, and when he hesitantly lifts his hand from his side to rest at your waist, you can’t help but smile. You break apart after a minute or so, your breathing heavier and you smile up at Kun’s face, watching him for a reaction. His gaze meets yours and he reveals his white teeth in a toothy grin, face beaming and lets out a soft giggle.
You’re both still standing in the last row of the library, your back very close to the shelf of History books and you plant a kiss on Kun’s cheek before hugging him. He returns the gesture and his voice is muffled by your hair as he speaks.
“That was..nice.” you chuckle and nod, slightly swaying both your bodies and move to boop your nose with his.
“I love you.” your confession was bound to come tumbling out your mouth and into the open sooner or later, it was really fucking obvious that the both of you were head over heels for each other, everybody said that, but the fear of being rejected held the both of you back.
Kun’s smile widens and he connects both your foreheads. “I love you too, Y/n. So much.” his words suddenly bring tears to your eyes, and you’re suddenly feeling super emotional about the fact that this perfect man who just kissed you is confessing his love for you.
“Why are you crying baby? Do you want me to move my han-” you cut him off by pressing your lips against his and his rambling stops as he returns the action by moving his plush lips against yours.
“No stupid. They’re happy tears.” “Oh, good. For a second I thought that you didn’t love me anymore.” Laughing at his thoughts, you bury your face in his neck and subtly sniff his cologne.
“Stop Y/n, that tickles.” you smile sheepishly at being caught and tell Kun that the two of you should probably move away from your current position.
“There’s nothing secretive about this, is there?” You giggle at Kun’s naivety and shake your hand as you drag him by the hand, mentally saying in your head that you loved this boy.
