Progress of my 3D environment
Just an ordinary green rubbish bin
A little weapon idea, imagine a heavy Magno-Electrifying Blunderbuss, or a coil-fusion plasma burster. This is the model I made for my 3D prop assignment for 3D Modelling and Animation.

For some reason the tape didn’t wanna come along to sketchfab, but it still looks pretty nice, also some of my UV’s are mirrored somehow.
Blunderbuzz progress - I decided to do cheap metal effect plastic skin, looks like a toy. Still have to change the metal handle but other then that this is how I want the materials :) “Submission isn’t far” 23rd/Nov/15

We had to design two characters, here’s Lisa... named after my mum. The other which isn’t quite finished is a cat. I’ve been finding it hard drawing a cat turnaround, that’s all I’ll say.

Now I have the fundamental shape I am interested in making this a little more aggressive in terms of shape language. It would appear not to do much damage, but as this weapon is going to be the holy grail in my game idea I need to make it look the part too. To do this I plan on adding a few attachments, as well as making the chassis less round, and adding pointy and interestingly shaped objects in the correct places.

Heres a little update of the Blunderbuzz!
The lighting is a bit mental, but it’s starting to take shape... I now have to sort out a few more higher poly attachments, and fine tune the polys to make sure they have optimal flow :)
I have a little idea coming along, I’ve never made a weapon before so this is good practice. I have some curves here which will be getting replaced, but for the most part this is the sort of shape I’m going for, a stocky body with a blunderbuss barrel that the character could hold onto, keeping it below the chest. It reminds me of a water gun because of the roundness haha :)
Inspired by many things, portal, water guns, AK47′s.
