Supergirl characters as animals

Of course we are starting with Kara Danvers, She is a tigon which is a mix between a tiger and a lion. I wanted to make her a mix to point out how she is an animal as tigon don’t happen naturally in nature. Both tigers and lions have a connection to the sun and royalty which can represent the house of el.

Winn schott is a barn owl. @winn-schott-throughtheheart probably has a really good reason on why he picked a barn owl for Winn but me personally I just think owls are smart and Winn is smart so, also he is definitely a brown barn owl and not a white one

Lena luthor is a panther, to get the obvious out the way I choose it because of the green eyes and black combo, also panthers are really elegant and Lena is a billionaire so, I also wanted her to be a big cat like Kara to show how they compare to each other.

Alex Danvers is a wolf. I think wolfs are like more human power and tigers would be super powered. Wolves ofc are good at detecting and protecting.

j’onn j’onzz is a bear. This is because Winn calls him papa bear ofc but also since bears have been famous since the beginning of time and j’onn has been on earth for millions of years, they are also very protective over their young and j’onn makes the promise of protecting Alex and Kara to Jeremiah

james is an elephant. This one was pretty hard but I chose elephants for 2 reason, one elephants represent truth and James being a reporter and the guardian, two the guardian mask kinda looks like an elephant.

brainiac 5 is a grasshopper, brainy is from the future and is an alien so I wanted to pick a creature that gave off that vibe and it was an insect ofc, also its green cause he is

Supercorp agere headcanons - Little!Kara and CG!Lena 🦸🏼‍♀️🦕🌌

• Lena can immediately tell when Kara's starting to slip because the crinkle is in full force, she huffs a lot and bites/sucks on the end of her glasses

• at first Lena was reluctant to be Kara's caregiver because she never had a good role model when it came to being a mother

• Kara regresses to 3-5

• Lena absolutely spoils Kara with toys and gifts, to the point that Alex actually has to ban Lena from buying Kara more stuff because their apartment gets overrun with toys

• when Kara gets a new favourite film or song she plays it over and over and over and over again and WILL in fact throw a tantrum if Lena doesn't play it again

• Lena always cries in secret when she has to put Kara in timeout or take something away as discipline because she feels so awful and really doesn't want to turn into Lillian (she needs lots of reassurance from Alex and Sam)

• Lena can't cook, usually Kara does the cooking, so when Kara's little they always get takeaway or a friend to bring food over, which of course Kara doesn't mind

• Kara tends to like more "boyish" toys in headspace, and enjoys ramming her trucks as hard as possible into the wall (thankfully she wears a power dampening cuff when she's little, so her super strength is a lot weaker than usual and this only results in minor wall damage)

• Lena can't actually pick Kara up, but sometimes Kara just likes to pretend she can by getting Lena to hold her whilst she's actually hovering a bit

• the two of them often have documentary nights where they watch stuff about dinosaurs or animals until Kara gets fussy and changes it to a musical or Disney movie

• the cupboards are stacked with extra strong sippy cups designed for alien children because even with a power dampening cuff, Kara simply yearns to destroy

• sometimes when Kara has way too much energy, Lena will watch from the balcony as she sends Kara to fly a few laps of the city, or if she's smaller she'll call J'onn or Clark to come and take her for a fly

• Lena is yet to give in to Kara's endless pleas for a puppy

• "KARA GET DOWN-" and "travel with your FEET please!" Are very commonly used sentences in the Luthor-Danvers household

• although she doubts herself, Lena is an incredible caregiver and Kara absolutely adores her mama

• Kara constantly begs to watch scary ghost movies but she is banned from doing so because as soon as ghosts are mentioning she immediately cries (phantom zone trauma)

• Lena cannot even have a coffee without Kara spawning from seemingly nowhere asking, "I hab some?"

They've survived this long, they'll last you longer!

Also Goodnight Moon, which was his personal favorite bedtime story as a kid and Ma kept it

The best for little kids who like feeling tiny - he can pick you up and toss you, swing you around, rock you real nice

Very good at making you laugh with silly faces and jokes

• commits all 73 of Nia's stuffies' names to memory

• panics when he can't tell what Nia is feeling and runs through all possibilities

• runs risk assessments mentally for every activity Nia does and if she ever gets hurt or upset he really beats himself up for it

• finds the best theoretical material that would keep Nia comfy, makes it and makes her lots of clothes, onesies and stuffies for her

• tries to teach her simplified algorithms but Nia is too distracted with trying to put his hair into pig tails

• speaking of hair, Brainy uses geometry to make perfect, even hairstyles down to each individual hair, so Nia always looks and feels like a princess

• Kara is bisexual! She was pretty surprised when she realised that on earth it's controversial to like the same gender because on Krypton it's pretty normal, since most don't marry/have families with those they actually like but rather those they are assigned (at least in high ranking families)

• her first earth crush was her middle school maths teacher, Miss Stein, her second was Kenny Li

• she doesn't always realise when she has a crush until it's too late

• Lena.

• absolutely lives up to the bisexual stereotypes. Chaos. Can't sit straight. Fluffy haired boys and strong independent women.

• her first pride parade was actually taking Jon Kent to his first!! (Comic Kara)

Dreamer/Nia Nal

(dreamer is canonically transgender and uses she/her pronouns)

• Dreamer is loud and proud about her identity of being both part alien and transgender, and during pride she uses her powers to cast a huge trans flag in the sky for 10 minutes each night. Sometimes if she's in a silly mood she puts a dumb meme up instead.

• pretty much exclusively dates bi/queer men because she's traumatised from too many bad experiences with cishet men

• has a huge crush on Jon Kent (Nicole Maines' words not mine)

• kicks transphobe ass as a pass time

• has quite a large collection of Blahaj teddies and she is not ashamed

• used to be stealth for safety but now that she has her powers she feels a lot safer to be openly out

• she's a girls' girl. she may not get a period but you bet she has every product you could think of in her purse just incase anyone needs anything.

• makes trans puns constantly

• secretly does not like hyperpop... (and yes she feels ashamed to admit that)

• spends far too much money on girly children's toys as a way to heal her inner child, even though she transitioned fairly young

• secretly very disphoric but she tries to hide it because she wants to appear confident and happy with her transition

• she doesn't need a binder of course but she has a Miku binder for shits and giggles (like I said, meme goddess)

• took her a while to be okay with anything masculine, even things like sweatpants, so when she first got her suit she actually wanted brainy to add a skirt like Supergirl's, but now she loves the pants and is much more secure in her femininity

• trolls chasers when she's bored

• gets dysphoric over really random weird things like drinking orange juice straight from the jug

• enjoys being a mentor for younger queer people, modelling the type of behaviour she got from her own mentors like Kara and Lena

Lena Luthor is a lesbian!!

(Lena is not canonically a lesbian but it's pretty fucking obvious)

• Lena needs constant reassurance that Kara loves her

• took her ages to come out of the closet because of what Lillian and the Luthor family instilled into her about queer people

• told Lex once when she was younger that she had a crush on Andrea in school and he wasn't homophobic as he knows it is natural in nature but told her that it is stupid and a waste of time and that Lillian would disown her and cut her trust fund if she found out
