I’m not going to delete this blog myself but I’m sure it will be gone very soon. I cleaned up my page as to remove all traces of my job from my profile, and attempted to delete as many flagged posts as possible and clear my tags in everything. I feel it is probably futile…
I *want* to make another tumblr but I fear that it will be eradicated by tumblr because even instagram approved posts, entirely clothed posts, are being flagged.
Perhaps I will make a new tumblr for my own personal use, to answer questions and post what I am allowed to get away with. See how long that goes. I’ll report back soon with what my new page is.

Because they want to make money off of abled hipsters and don’t care if they hurt disabled people in the process. Or, more concisely, capitalism.
For those who don’t want to click through- it’s not some kind of problematic ingredient, it’s the fact that Papa John’s doesn’t want to make any changes to the way their kitchens are set up and go through the difficultly of ensuring the gluten-free pizza doesn’t get contaminated by the kitchen equipment. So they can’t guarantee that your pizza won’t be contaminated, in fact it probably will be contaminated unless that specific location decides to set aside gluten-free kitchen space, which i don’t know if they are even allowed to do on their own. probably not.
anyway, point still stands- they did the reasonably cheap part of the process and ignored the equally important, but way way more expensive part of the process, and now they will almost certainly reap the financial benefits from all the people who go ahead and order this pizza anyway. some of whom will probably actually be celiacs and will get very very sick. fuck you, papa johns.
Papa Johns does not have good pizza anyways. I go to CiCi Pizza, Little Caesars and Hunt Brothers.
You know, as a democrat, I’m central, heck even center-right, on abortion. Most abortions in the US are by low income families who just can’t afford to take on another child. Not for medical reasons, not because of rape, but because of socioeconomic status. So I think abortion should only be legal in the case of life of the mother and rape. Because those are important situations, and they need to be there to protect the life of the mother. But at the end of the day, you’re still taking a life when you have an abortion. We just value the life of the mother more than an unborn child. Which is correct. But that doesn’t mean that we can just throw the life of a child under a bus all the time. Sorry about this I just had to rant after I saw a super pro-abortion post.
But a fetus conceived in rape poses (presumably) no physical threat to the pregnant person. If it isn’t threatening their life, then why the exception? It’s an “innocent child” isn’t it?
They really want to force someone to have a kid that they know they can’t afford and don’t want? Even if they already have a kid that they need to provide for?
Ideally motherhood would be a paid job. As in paid by the government. But that’s not currently feasible.
And it’s possible to put the child up for adoption. The family doesn’t have to take care of the kid forever. Just until the child can survive outside the womb. Then they can be someone else’s responsibility.
Ok, but what if that kid is never adopted? I know that conservatives tend to have this pervasive idea that the kids are the products of “crackheads and whores” as I’ve been told by a Catholic school teacher. That means less people are aailable to adopt or willing to adopt. Plus, there’s the groups who can not legally adopt in their areas due to anti-lgbt legislation.
On top of that, there’s the foster to prison pipeline, and many young girls end up being sex trafficked after they run away from an over crowded and underfunded foster home. Many kids are not adopted. They simply age out, and are on their own. I want eery child to be born wanted and cared for, not be put into a system where they’re likely to not get the support and care they deserve.
Pregnancy and child birth is also extremely expensive. If they can’t afford the pregnancy, then why should they take resources, time, and possibly risk losing their job, and then possibly even their home as a result to bring an unwanted child into the world?
Which is why I want to fix the adoption system before putting any of this into place. The adoption system is really screwed up and we need to fix it. But this should be the goal we work towards eventually.
Adoption doesn’t solve the problem of carrying an unwanted pregnancy to term, though. How would you make people do that? If they tried to illegally induce abortion, should they be locked up or watched until they give birth? If someone has a “suspicious” miscarriage, would they be investigated and go to jail if found guilty? Would you force people to undergo unwanted obgyn exams that could incriminate them?

You’re talking about a dystopian nightmare society where you could be incriminated through no fault of your own. I’m trying to save as many lives as possible. Born and unborn.
So no, of course you’re not going to be investigated or locked up for trying to induce abortion. If you are actually trying to induce it, you need help. Like either financial help (which is why I’ve already advocated for motherhood being a paid job) or mental help (which is why I advocate for universal healthcare). Or both. Probably both.
You don’t save lives, born or unborn, by driving abortion underground. And sometimes it’s not even about finances, sometimes people just DON’T WANT TO BE PREGNANT AND GIVE BIRTH. Are you trying to claim that everyone who wants an abortion either a) would willingly have a baby if they had the resources, or b) is mentally ill? Because that’s simply not true of all pregnant people.
Also is OP aware that in prolife countries, people are being locked up for having “suspicious” miscarriages and even stillbirths.

The fact is though, that in countries where abortion is illegal? People ARE actually locked up for ‘suspicious’ miscarriages and stillbirths. Have some sources. Have more. And the USA is doing it too. People are also denied abortions even in life saving circumstances in these countries. Even when the fetus is dead or dying. That is reality. You have rose coloured glasses on, you think that making abortion illegal will just… stop the abortions and that all people who “actually” need one will get one, and that no innocet bystanders will be caught up in it. Because the reality is right there. Prolife countries are a dystopia. And as @pro-abortion-rights has asked: What about the people who seek illegal abortions anyways? People so desperate to not be pregnant that they will put their life at risk to stop being pregnant? Do they get thrown in jail? Charged with murder? If someone has a miscarriage, would you then not be required to investigate it?
Now, it’s all well and good to say ‘motherhood should be a paid position!’, but the reality is: It isn’t. And until it is, you’re going to have to accept that people are going to NEED abortions for financial reasons, and denying them that or shaming them for that is pretty fucked up of you to do. (Nevermind that people don’t stop owning their bodies just because they are pregnant.)
OP have you ever been pregnant? Have you ever incurred the costs associated with being pregnant? If yes, then did your pregnancy run as smoothly as possible? I am seriously asking here because you seem to have some blinders on about it. I would not wish any person who did not want to be pregnant to go through anything like I did. Pregnancy can and does kill women all over the world (yes even in 1st world countries). A pregnancy should ideally only continue if the pregnant person wants it to!
