I really do love that people have legitimately always just been people. Like how many angry breakup texts have their been that end with “Come get your stuff or I’m donating it to goodwill”? People never change.
The concubine after reading this:
This is my new breakup format
Fuck him and his harem. I hope Nisaba made you #1 wife, baby
screaaaming me
“pick up your flax shawls and sandals or else I will donate them to the temple of the moon god” idk why but this bit in particular is SENDING me humans have literally always been the same

Someone help I’m trying to find the image of a woman in a bikini on a beach with a fish caught in her mouth and it looked something like this
This one?
yes thank you very much for your time. everyone head home
yeehaw!
Dean Domino is actually really great narrative design, especially if you manage to befriend him, because the revelation that he’s a massive piece of shit aligns with the moment where you have to decide to kill or spare him. Like, those things take place simultaneously.
You’re running through the Tampico, gradually piecing together the past and realizing that Dean is a deeply, deeply evil man, but he’s shouting encouragement at you through the wall the entire time. He’s beaming down at you from the stairwell and calling you “partner,” applauding you both for how well you work together as a team. And then he tells you the whole disgusting story, but it doesn’t seem to have entered his head that you would view him any differently, because this is the moment where he’s come to fully trust you.
You spend the entire DLC gradually concluding that this guy isn’t so bad, really, only for him to demonstrate in the final fucking act that he’s worse than you ever imagined. And then you have to decide whether you’ve got it in you to execute a man who has done unforgivable things, but has let down his guard because he thinks you’re his friend.
i love tommy wiseau because nobody but tommy wiseau knows exactly who he is
nobody knows where exactly he was born, or anything about his past. “tommy wiseau” isnt even his real name
fuck nobody even knows how old he really is
he’s also a multi billionaire and no one has any idea where he acquired that fortune
his whole life literally makes no sense

I just learned yesterday that Pikachu, my favorite Pokemon, was originally designed not by Ken Sugimori (he only finalized the design), but by a female graphic designer named Atsuko Nishida.
Also after googling her, I found out that she’s also designed Sylveon–another favorite PKMN of mine. She’s also illustrated some very pretty Pokemon cards!!
Thank you Ms. Nishida! :-) May you get more credit and love for your contribution to the Pokemon franchise.
as a camera shy person myself, knowing she hides behind plushies is just amazing
Her and Yoko Taro are legends at hiding from cameras. xD
Here’s some other Pokemon she’s designed, for anyone curious:

and not to derail this post into anything overtly political, but: If it weren’t for a woman in the gaming industry, we wouldn’t have freakin’ Charizard. I feel like that’s something more people should know about!
No idea what it means but something I found interesting:
Remember the post that talked about how Pokémon are designed differently these days to be cuter and easier to draw? One of the comparisons it makes is vulpix with zorua, and now I find out they were designed by the same person.
An electric toothbrush and an escalator are two things that can stop working and still accomplish their original goal.
Ah, wonderful! This post can help me illustrate something I’ve been trying to articulate for awhile: the concept of benign or unintentional abelism.
Escalators and electric toothbrushes are perfect examples of things that many able-bodied people assume exist for their own convenience, and this post is a perfect example of that unconscious assumption.
An escalator that has broken down is still perfectly functional, right?
Well, sure–if you could have used the stairs to begin with.
But for people like me, for whom the escalator was not a convenience but a mobility device, a broken down escalator is not functional.
An electric toothbrush might seem like something that could be just as easily used turned off as turned on, but for someone with Parkinson’s, or any other number of nerve, coordination, or grip issues, the function of the electric toothbrush is a necessary feature, and without it, the task at hand becomes far more arduous (or even impossible).
I’m not angry or trying to point out why this post is “bad” or “wrong”–I’m simply trying to point out that people who assume every time or energy-saving invention was created as a means to help able-bodied people be lazier should consider re-examining those assumptions. It might help you become more compassionate toward your disabled friends and family, or at least more aware of the struggles we face daily.
I’ve had plenty of folks ask for examples of abelism and I am terrible at coming up with them on the spot, so here you go. This is a great one: assuming every modern convenience is only a convenience for everyone, when for some, it is, in fact, a necessity.
Yildun being all sweet~~ Polaris can hardly believe what he’s hearing! :O But, it’s def good to hear it >w<
nothing makes me happier than being reminded sawyer lowkey hates fallout 3 as much as i do
If anyone needs context: Josh Sawyer, the project director of Fallout New Vegas, made a mod for the game to get it closer to the dev teams goals which they couldn't include due to NV's ridiculously short development. It's mostly changes to items, stats, health, carry weight, basically a lot of rebalancing.
But then, hidden among the math, is this change, which removes a little easter egg photo of the mom and dad from fallout 3.
You guys should reblog n tell me about your Couriers / FNV OCs I want to hear about them all I
