I don't think this whole episode is going to be one giant Kill Bill reference (although I would adore it if it was). Instead I think it will be a big homage to Kung Fu movies like Karate kid and... yk other Kung Fu movies I've defiantly watched. Although it would be nice if Uma Thurman made a cameo in this ep...

Rick and Morty season 9 and Kill Bill!!!

I feel like I've been so afk about the new season considering we literally have a release date, trailer and multiple promo videos however something I do really want to talk about is this clip from the season 9 trailer specifically

I'm so shocked I've hardly seen anyone talk about the fact that THIS IS A KILL BILL REFERENCE!!!!! Kill Bill is my number 1 favourite movie of all time and Rick and Morty is my favourite show of all time so THIS... had me bouncing off the fucking walls.

This Pai Mei looking character is literally performing the 5 point, palm exploding heart technique on Rick

Does make me wonder how the hell Rick supposed to survive this considering the outcome of Bill... . Although I swear there was an episode where Rick had a shield that could wrap around his heart so maybe that'll be making another appearance?

Also this might be a stretch but even the building that this Pai Mei looking character throws Rick and Morty out of looks similar to the villa in Mexico that Bill and Beatrix meet at, at the end of Kill Bill volume 2

God this show just keeps getting better and better

I was hoping that season eight's Beth blitz wasn't temporary, but she's barely featured in the season nine promos, so that's not a good sign. I wish she weren't so underused. I like Jerry, but why does HE get more attention than the emotional core of the show?

RICK AND MORTY SEASON 9 SNEAK PEAK

Yes the new sneak peak had me bouncing off the walls in excitement but if I'm honest the main thing I was focusing on was the fact they called Beth a boomer

Right but if Beth is canonically 34 years old that would mean she was born in 1992 making her a millennial. Is the show consistently set in 2013? That would mean she was born in 1979 making her Gen X? I'm thinking too much into this. We are so fucking back.

Another reason I don’t understand why the bros are crying over Beth having three episodes in season eight is…it’s not like she’s the only character they show? Rick is heavily featured in those episodes, too? I guess they’re mad because their hero doesn’t hate women like they do.
