One thing I see a lot of new mcyt fans not get is why Grian is always represented as a bird...

So here's all the reasons I remember of the top of my head.

The Grian avian trend started in season 6 when after starting as a elytra noob he quickly became one of if not the best flier of the smp.

Since season 6 he's had a secret identity called Poultry man which uses a chicken mask and eggs to commit pranks.

There's a clip of him dancing to a jukebox in sync with a bunch of parrots also dancing, It's really cute but also really started the Parrot hybrid Grian stuff.

Watchers have been a long time represented as biblically accurate angels so giving Grian wings became even more common when watcher lore started getting popular.

In season 7 he got the nickname of Pesky Bird for his use of parrots to transport crates and people like Doc still often call him by that name.

This man has an obsession with eggs. From Poultry man to the season 8 egg fixation to the season 9 egg hunt to his second Secret Life base to EGG to the egg he built for Gem's birthday a few days ago. Egg that Gem said Grian must have laid.

There's more I'm pretty sure but this is all I remember from memory.

Just caught up with the news about the next Minecraft update.

New trees with gray wood? New autumn biome? Three new leaf colours? New bushes and mushroom types? Hay beds that skip the night without resetting your spawnpoint? FUCKING WOOL STAIRS?

This is insane???

Had they made it together with the sulfur caves and mob they probably could have made it a whole major update thing like they did for Caves and Cliffs. Sulfur and Seasons update or something.

Shelby -> Martyn

I have mixed feelings about this one. Shelby in the militia is fun, Shelby who is afrid of judgement and fabricates a backstory for herself is fun, Shelby who despite her kindness is forced into conflict by the wretched beasts is fun.

Buuut... this all means she dies, feeling betrayed as the vampires kill her by accident right at the end... i have feelings about this. Many.

Well, can't argue with the wheel.

I imagine Shelby's fake backstory to be similiar to Martyn's... expect her idea of nobility is almost entirely based on literature, she makes for herself a "noblewoman" accent which is just a weird french accent and nobody says anything but they all know.

Maybe her reactions to vampirism are because of literature. Canon Shelby was so open to idea of vampires because of Twilight, I wonder if she would have been as anti vampires as Martyn if her main knowledge of then came from like Dracula.

And so the militia is born... or the Oakhurst legion as it's called in this universe. Shelby ends up being the most dedicated member of the group until the end of the story... even if her ways are unconventional.

Just woke up and had the weirdest dream.

So me and the Lucky Crew were preparing to go on a trip to Austria together for some reason but @a-sociopath-do-your-research had accidentally booked the wrong flight and went to somewhere else I don't remember so we had to send Sonic to grab void but at the same time @crimsonflock, who I dreamt was a red haired Grian, was having beef with Jesus on twitter but then it turned out Crimson and Jesus were actually the same person on two different accounts???

I also I might have woken up in the middle of the night and have hallucinated the king in yellow.

Soon after the session begins their tasks are given:

Blue chooses the task from the autumn goddess, his task is to choose a mcyt and imitate them for the whole session. He chooses to imitate Joel.

Oli chooses the task from the spring goddess, voids task is to create and recite a poem.

Bendy chooses the task from the summer god, her task is to lurk around Rae for ten minutes straight.

Juno chooses the task from the spring goddess, her task is to talk only in second person.

Rae chooses the task from the autumn goddess, her task is to invent a word and convince at least three players that It's real.

Orchid chooses the task from the winter god, his task is to craft full cyan coloured leather armor.

Catboi chooses the task from the summer god, his task is to farm a fully inventory of stacks of potatoes.

Glitch chooses the task from the winter god, her task is to create a parkour course and convince at least three players to partake in it.

Crimson chooses the task from the autumn goddess and immediately rerolls for hard at the autumn goddess statue... As soon as it does he is sent to another plane, in an escape room, It's task is to escape this escape room before time runs out.

Twisttea chooses the task from the autumn goddess, her task is to convince another player that a new minecraft feature has been added.

Manu chooses the task from the summer god, her task is to reference at least three bits from previous seasons without being called out on it.

Liz chooses the task from the autumn goddess, their task is to shoot someone with an arrow tipped with an health potion.

Flora chooses the task from the spring goddess, her task is to create a fanclub with members of other teams in honour of a player of her choosing. She chooses to create a Manu fan club.

Bee chooses the task from the winter god, her task is to only be able to hit enemies with snow balls.

Fros chooses the task from the spring goddess, their task is to give at least 3 players their favourite flowers without being able to ask what they might be.

Tessa chooses the task from the autumn goddess, her task is to capture the first mob she sees and keep it as a pet.

Ari chooses the task from the winter god, her task is to only build side ways for the entirety of the session.

Astoria chooses the task from the summer god, their task is to hype up and praise the bane of arthropods enchantment to other players.

Elephant chooses the task from the winter god, his task is to "make the session interesting". When the session is over I'll start a vote on wether or not he suceeded.

Jade chooses the task from the summer god, her task is to stop with her little rebellion choose another player and become their servant for the session. Jade chooses Crimson.

Rachie chooses the task from the summer god, her task is to convince at least 5 players to partecipate in a beach episode with her.

The second session begins now.

Crimson begins trying to escape, they succeed in escaping the first room.

Fros tries to spy on Tessa's to find her favourite flower and accidentally gets caught by Bendy.

Blue summons a team meeting, only Oli and Astoria show up.

Rachie decides to build a beach paradise for their task.

Rae works on building her base.

Elephant attempts to guess Manu's task but fails, Manu laughs at him.

Jade finishes adding some details on her base.

Flora tricks Orchid into burning part of their gear.

Ari goes into the mines and finds a massive ravine

Bee and Juno play with their fishing rods together... That sounds worse then it actually is.

Glitch convinces Twisttea and Catboi to compete in a parkour challenge...after break.

Liz builds a tower to word height in an attempt to start a skynet.

Bendy accidentally pushes Fros off a ledge, Fros loses 5 hearts.

Flora convinces Catboi to join the Manu fan club trough bribery.

Astoria travels to the nether to get resources. They find a nether fortess and gather blaze rods and even a wither skull but lose 12 hearts to withering.

Rachie convinces Oli to participate in the beach episode, Oli brings Blue along.

Twisttea loses 6 hearts to a creeper.

Glitch realizes she counts as a third player and starts preparing for the parkour competition.

Liz travels to the nether to get nether wart and blaze rods but gets set on fire and loses 12 hearts.

Crimson gets stuck in the second chamber of the escape room... He starts talking to a potato it found in a chest to pass the time.

Elephant guesses Rae's task succesfully, forgetting about the health thing she sets him on fire. Elephant loses 5 hearts before jumping in water.

Tessa finds the stronghold, by accident, just mining and she finds the end portal...like something called her there. She walks away.

Jade searches for Crimson everywhere to complete her task but can't find it anywhere. Weird.

Manu succeeds her task and goes to claim her rewards.

Orchid gathers leather in an horse slaughtering montage, the gods consider that he might be related to Joel.

Ari fills Juno's chests with random items.

Bee gets stuck in falling sand and loses 3 hearts.

Break time! Wooo! Half way trough the session already!

Rachie convinces Glitch to host the parkour competition at the beach.

Catboi starts loudly lamenting having to farm potatoes. Jade calls him potato boy. Point and laugh at potato boy.

Fros builds a secret base in the corner of the map, just in case.

Crimson is still stuck in the second chamber, unable to proceed. It calls the potato Bernard. Because why the heck not? Crimson feels like Bernard really gets him.

Liz finally acquires a brewing stand but forgets how to brew health potion, her and Flora have an impromptu potion brewing lesson.

Bendy floods Rae's base with water and is immediately caught.

Orchid travels to the Nether to get resources and falls into lava. He burns to death.

Oli and Twisttea fish together for a while.

Bee and Juno bet a diamond on who's gonna die next.

Manu, Blue and Astoria search for Crimson but cannot find him.

Elephant joins the beach party squad, all to make it more "interesting"

Tessa and Ari spend time mining together.

Catboi sells a lifetime potato subscription to Fros before succeding his task.

Orchid succeds his task and claims the rewards.

Liz, Twisttea and Juno fish together.

Crimson and Bernard finally escape the second chamber of the escape room and It's task is completed! He can finally return to society.

Ari finds the cave entrance to the stronghold and decides to cover it up not knowing that Tessa already found it.

Glitch, Blue and Rae hide together from the yellows trying to guess their tasks. Blue is caught by Elephant who correctly guesses his task. (Rip season life me)

Bee travels to the nether and manages to acquire 16 ender pearls at the cost of losing 5 hearts in the process. She then realizes she failed her task by using weapons.

Jade, unable to find Crimson, fails her task... (Who's going to tell her Crimson just came back? Rip season life Jade)

Bendy is jumpscared by Oli while mining and swords xem. Oli loses two hearts but feels it's worth it.

Manu joins Flora's... Manu fan club. Can she do that? Guess so.(Out of all the person I could have rolled this one is the funniest one lol)

Tessa and Astoria have a lore moment after the former asks the latter how winning a game feels. You two decide how the conversation goes.

Rachie officially starts the beach party since this is the last possible chance for her to do so.

And yes. It's beach episode time! ... Well, beach quarter of an episode time but still, it counts.

Glitch, Twisttea and Catboi compete in the parkour challenge. Catboi wins the competition but Glitch is the real winner as she's able to suceed her task.

Elephant gets overconfident and accidentally reveals his task failing it. Too bad, cause that definitely would have been entertaining. Oh well, guess I don't have to poll it this time, slightly disappointed about that.

Juno laments the tasks with Manu and Fros.

Crimson... and Bernard swim together.

Oli recites the poem to Blue, void suceeds the task. (Irl Oli actually wrote a poem so I didn't spin for this one, it was a win no matter what)

Astoria and Bendy sing "Improvised karaoke" at the beach party.

Rae, Bee and Flora play reverse sardines at the beach. Flora then suceeds her task.

Orchid does not go to the beach party, too busy mining.

Liz and Tessa arrive at the beach last and only when It's already the end of session.

Rachie succeeds her task.

Jade and Ari were at the beach but disappeared like halfway through and nobody knows where they went.

And that's session 2! Now, let's roll the task sucesses and failures for the players who haven't yet done either. Those being: Bendy, Juno, Twisttea, Liz, Fros, Tessa, Ari and Astoria.

Bendy, Liz, Ari, Tessa and Twisttea suceed.

Fros, Juno and Astoria fail.

And finally the heart gifts. To make it simpler instead of giving hearts during the session I'll make it so players canonically only give hearts at the the very very end of the session. This way It's easier to calculate health.

Blue gives an heart to Crimson.

Oli gives an heart to Bee.

Bendy gives an heart to Rae.

Juno gives an heart to Glitch.

Rae gives an heart to Twisttea.

Orchid gives an heart to Catboi.
