1. "Hey, handsome," Jack laughs with delight, pulling Robby into a firm hug the second they collide in the baggage claim. He's smiling ear to ear with his chin perched on Robby's shoulder, leaning up to hug him as tight as possible, wouldn't let him go for the world. Robby's bag strap is digging into his chest, but he doesn't care. "Missed you."
2. "I love you, too, sweetheart," Jack whispers when Robby is lying on his side with nothing but love in his eyes, all worry about the outside world gone completely as he tells Jack those three little words. A moment that's only theirs, in which Jack feels safe to call Robby that precious name.
3. "Yeah, honey?" Jack says, drying his hands with a kitchen towel, turning as Robby asks where he put the new jar of Italian seasoning, he can't find it.
4. "Go faster, please, baby," Jack gasps right into Robby's ear, one hand gripping his hair while the other is digging into Robby's sweaty back along with his heel to pull him down, closer, chest to chest and mouth to mouth and heart to heart. He and Robby moving together into every lightning spark of pleasure. "Need it. Need more. Need you."
5. "I've got you, brother," Jack says, keeping Robby's face in both hands so he can't turn and look away, make him hold eye contact despite his eyes red from crying and his breath coming in quick bursts. "With me, you're always gonna be safe, you hear? We're not on the ledge anymore."
+1. "You want me to call you something special, Jack?" Robby says, smiling fondly. "You're always calling me nice things. It occurred to me that I should ask if you did it because you want me to do it back."
That makes Jack smile; god, there's nothing he doesn't love about this man and his desperate desire to serve, take care of, in any way possible.
He thinks about it. Not many people call him Jack these days, he's been used to hearing his last name or his title for decades. But when Robby says it, whether through laughter or gasped in the throes of passion or whispered in the early morning, it sounds as tender and special and precious as anything Jack could call him, with so much feeling it brings tears to Jack's eyes. It's different from the way anyone else says his name. It's theirs.
"You can if you want," Jack replies with a smile, "but as long as you keep saying my name, you got no complaints here."
"Jack," Robby singsongs as he leans in for a kiss.
