Judas Iscariot, “Superstar” Costume (Peter Johansson) Swedish Arena Tour Jesus Christ Superstar Production 2014

Costume Notes: This costume seems practically identical to Martinsson’s. Judas is barefoot, his hair fully down, with a sparkly robe which he removes (gif in the 2nd row) to reveal his red pants and sparkly belt. Johansson keeps his bracelets/bracer on for this. Due to Johansson having a different more visible rigging when he is lowered to the stage at the start of the number he does not have the beige straps that Martinsson had. From what I can tell about the rigging the poles/wires behind him are secured to metal links on Johansson’s sides under the robe which the dancers unlink when he lands on stage (2nd row, right and left pic). I don’t really know what the links are attached to whether it’s an underlayer of the robe or not, but if anyone is really curious I’m sure you could ask in the comment section of Peter Johansson’s posts of this show, for he seems quite active there.
