Hell yeah it's that time of year again!! As always, Q&A is under the cut! Send an ask if you have any questions!

Fourth annual, fifth total, we are once again approaching summer and that means Lautski Nation rises again! As always I'm so so hyped to see what everyone makes and create something new myself! Still modded by @the-spaced-out-ace

And as per usual, a rundown of how the event works in case this is someone's first time!

Q: What are alternates?

A: Alternates are two extra prompts in case one of them leaves you stumped! They can be used any day, or they can not be used at all! It’s up to each individual participant!

Q: Do I have to do all seven days?

A: You’re free to do as many as you want! You can do all seven, you can do just a few, hell, you could do all nine in you wanted! This isn’t a challenge, it’s an event. The main goal is to make some posts about this ship we love and having fun.

Q: What can I make?

A: Anything you want! Art, fics, edits, memes, etc. There's even been a cosplay or two in the past! The one thing I will not reblog is anything generated by AI. I trust that anyone in an event like this gets why generative AI is evil, but I am saying it just in case.

Q: How do I post?

A: I’ll reblog anything made for the event to this blog and my main. If you’d like to be featured, please @ THIS blog. Additionally, I’d recommend tagging works with #lautski week so everyone’s works can all be found in the same place. I've also not always been pinged by tumblr in the past, so the tag really is an important extra precaution.

Q: I was late! Can I still post?

A: Of course! I’ll keep reblogging new posts tagged #lautski week and/or mention this blog through June 30, 2026!

Q: Can I post to AO3, then link it back here?

A: Feel free! That's how a lot of longer fics for the event got published in the past!

Q: Can I post to (insert any other fanfic site here) then link it back here?

A: Same as AO3. Go ahead!

Q: One of my wips fits *insert prompt here!* Can I post it for that day?

A: You can, but please don’t post before the event begins!

Q: Am I allowed to write smut?

A: Yes, but please have it properly tagged on both tumblr and AO3. On this blog, I will use the additional tag "smut warning"

percy found a place for himself at both, camp halfblood and camp jupiter. annabeth was made the architect of olympus. leo got a family, in the form of em and jo. hazel and frank became praetors. piper started her journey towards self discovery, reconnecting with her roots. thalia and reyna joined the hunters. will and nico both became camp counsellors. everyone had a place they belonged in. but jason was the only one who had nowhere to belong. not in camp jupiter, they treated him more like a son of zeus, a natural born leader whose only purpose is to be the perfect praetor. they did not view him as jason grace, a young boy who was thrust into this violence too early. not in camp halfblood, where no matter what he did, it could never be enough because though no one said it directly, everyone held some resentment against him for the sole reason of him not being percy. not with thalia, his only family. she joined the hunters. not with piper and leo, the entire dynamic of the trio was built on falsehoods and manipulated memories and cognitive distortions. there was nowhere for him to go after hoo. there was no home for him, waiting for him to come rest. there was no future planned for him. rick killing him off was, for the most part, for shock value, but the foundations for it were laid down since jason was first introduced. jason grace had nowhere to go, except into the arms of death.

Obey Me Tips & Tricks

I've had a few questions about Obey Me strategy, so here are my tips:

Invest in memory cards, they're important!

Grind events for rewards and exp

In events use the 5 extra turns for watching ads

Focus on building 3 demon cards and 3 memory cards, SSR level or higher

UR is the strongest but harder to level their skill

If a card hits level 80, start building another card where possible

Build the rainbow - different colours represent a stronger all-round deck 🌈

Get more SSR cards by grinding levels in Hard Lessons daily

Save devil points for the 99 deal when you level up

Save demon vouchers for events in Nightmare

Cheat cards during events vastly increase the amount of event currency you earn

Don't overly invest in an event if you don't want those cards!! Save for the next one instead.

Dump extra Grimm into 10 card hauls from G in Nightmare

Farm the jobs as much as possible

Collect 60AP daily by defending the fridge

Add 50+ people as friends to gain 50AP daily

Complete daily to-do for max devil points

Surprise Guests don't require gifts, just get three hearts and the first 5 will give you a present

Playing a stage earns you MORE exp than if you auto-clear it - this also applies to event currency!!

(Last bulletpoint no longer applies after the first battle changes were made by devs.)
