I found an article written by a woman who pretended to be 11 year old girl online for 7 days, and it has a lot of descriptions of online sexual abuse of minors, but with the right point of view; minors cannot consent and have no agency in being sexually abused online, and it’s on adults to protect them from ever being put in the danger of becoming a target of predator. I’m going to post a link because I want all my underage followers to know how predators online talk, what they will say and demand of you, and to recognize on spot when someone is trying to sexually abuse you. If anyone has ever talked to you in this way online, if you recognize any of that behavior in someone you chat with, you should know that what they’re doing is illegal and a crime against you. You are more than allowed to shut that conversation down and block the predators, and if you can, report them. Nothing that happened in those conversations is remotely your fault, and just the fact that you were exposed to something like that means this world has failed you. Here’s the article.

A few years ago, there was a man who openly called for the harassment of the people who he deemed to be “toxic”. He stated, “There are no bad tactics; only bad targets.” In other words, he was saying that harassment isn’t bad, as long as you’re harassing the right people.I don’t agree with that man. I’d prefer a world with zero harassment. I’d prefer a world where people find a way to settle their differences without resorting to aggression or intimidation. I don’t want to see anyone getting harassed, especially not because of me.I don’t want anyone to be harassed on my behalf. I don’t want anyone to be harassed in my name. I don’t want anyone to be harassed in my defense. You may think you’re the “good guy” fighting against the “bad guys”, but if you’re harassing anyone for any reason, you’re automatically the new bad guy.How do you stop a serial harasser? Do you show him, firsthand, how it feels? If you give him a taste of his own medicine, will he grow a conscience and mend his ways? Should the harassers be harassed? No, I don’t think so. I’ve never seen this tactic solve any problems. It just doesn’t work that way.I won’t pretend that I don’t have conflicting feelings about this situation. There are people who are determined to make my life as miserable as possible, and telling my fans not to defend me might embolden the people who attack me. An anti-harassment post might bring more harassment into my life.Despite that, I’m still going to say what needs to be said: If you think you’ve identified a person who is causing problems for me, and you’re trying to put a stop to them by harassing them on my behalf, I want you to stop. Support Strike

On the PTR, Overwatch is nerfing Mercy again. No rez reset during ult. No momentum boost during Guardian Angel. Rez is 30 seconds no matter what.

They’re nerfing Lucio, too, so his wall ride doesn’t give him the speed bonus. They’re killing the supports, now.

So now, support mains everywhere, go on strike. If you aren’t terribly attached to your rank, go into games and auto click DPS. Go on support strike. Spread the word. This is the first week of the Halloween event.

Don’t get me wrong, I want new lore just as much as the next person. But for me, seeing lore we already know brought to life is wonderful in itself.

Like, I had no real concept of just how tragic and inspiring Mei’s background story is. Watching her mourn the loss of her friends, then be filled with hope under the Aurora and set off across the Antarctic to help save the world, it gave her character so much more depth, and I love that.

Honestly.

Give me Angela Ziegler losing her parents in the face of war and deciding there is still good in humanity by training to become a doctor.

Give me a young Hanzo Shimada being told by the clan elders that he must kill his own brother, and the heartbreak as he stands over Genji’s lifeless body.

Give me Genji Shimada’s thirst for revenge as he wipes out the entire clan that rejected him, all while he is struggling to accept his new body.
