My Top 100 Hip Hop Albums
Many of you responded to my 100 all time hip hop songs list, and I appreciate it. The list was based on personal preference, as well as the songs impact on hip hop culture as a whole. Your responses made me want to continue the conversation so here is a list of my top 100 hip hop albums. I get it, it’s the internet, feel free to dissect my list, hate it, love it, discuss it. But keep in mine it’s a list of MY favorites, not a list of what should be your favorites. Rather than spending time being upset if you don’t like it, let it inspire you to make your own list and share it with me, with your circle of friends…maybe I missed something or can learn about an album or two. I look forward to the sharing, enjoy! Idioms of the World, Matt Lindley
Oh my god, my boyfriend just shared the “not my circus, not my monkeys” one with me yesterday. And I know he doesn’t do tumblr. Was this going around Facebook or SA?
I love idioms, such a great cultural insight in a neat little package.

Some people are just OBSESSED with wine…
A hairdresser near me is called Gangnam Style Parlour and has a big cartoon mural of Psy on the front. This is getting out of hand.

Buildings in Chicago that nobody has ever seen before.
"Brazilian graffiti artists Os Gemeos who were invited to the Vancouver Biennale to turn six multi-story silos on Granville Island into their trademark ‘Giants.’ The murals on the 70-foot towers are now the largest paintings ever attempted by the pair, an astounding feat considering Os Gemeos completely donated a month of their time to create the non-profit art project.”

Launching today: The new and improved VHX Publisher Admin
Try it out: sign up or log in and give it a spin.
Our constant focus has always been to make it as easy as possible for anyone to start selling video straight to their audience. For the past two years, we’ve worked closely with filmmakers and publishers to create the best platform for direct internet distribution…and we were adding and designing as we went. Inevitably, it came time to simplify and optimize.
Today, we’re thrilled to launch a brand new Publisher Admin. Our creative director Chad Pugh says, “We were able to learn from so many smart filmmakers who helped us improve the whole experience.” We’ve streamlined the video publishing process and made it easier to navigate. We’ve integrated tons of help and guidance, because we’ve seen that education is really important for our users’ success. We’ve optimized for mobile so publishers can ogle their stats and sales data on the go. The new Publisher Admin is built for all types of publishers, whether they’re selling video, or just using free features — sending screeners, building websites, maintaining a mailing list, or otherwise.
"We built the new Publisher Admin for maximum dev and design efficiency, so we can ship more features, faster — and better — than before," said VHX co-founder Casey Pugh. "Which is good, because we have some seriously big new features in the pipeline."

Robin Williams on The Origins of Golf
Robin Williams passed yesterday, but he will forever be remembered. And in honor of his incredible talent to make us smile, here is one of our FAVORITE golf jokes of all time.
Williams explains how golf started in a very unique way.
RIP Mr. Williams. Thank you for your wonderful contributions to the world of entertainment.
PS. If you’re offended by cursing, are under 18 yrs., or have a weak heart, you may want to pass on this one.
