ASMR/ BF Audio list

Over Quarantine I developed a mild addiction to boyfriend ASMR audios and have been sharing some of my faves with @honeychicanawrites

So i thought it would be nice to make list of my faves . They are a mix of NSFW and SFW. A lot of the Audios are free apart from some of the NSFW, which are on Patreon.

im starting with my faves. 

BoyfriendAudio’s : He has a lot of really cute content on YouTube and more NSFW stuff on Patreon. I love his stuff so much. Very nice deep voice .( 100/10 on both platforms)

Auralescent : This was the first ever ASMR channel i listened to, again also a lot of content on YouTube, both NSFW and SFW, very relaxing. His voice is very soft and puts me to sleep. (30/10) most of his content is for women but has some neutral and male centred content.

KaisonnVA: On YouTube, has really soft content really cute, very soft , very soft,very cute, like a baby i want to hug.(did i mention soft) (10/10)

Professor_Cal: (Reddit ) Cinematic, STORY LINES , its a whole experience, its a Production. Mostly NSFW stuff but very sweet.100/10 would recommend.

TomBanter :(Reddit) again , PRODUCTIONS. Sound effects, music EVERYTHING. he has some funny/cute stuff on there. Mainly NSFW ,butbHe has content for every one. Also some Dub Con stuff for anyone who is interested (9/10)

Hello everyone! I’ve had some questions about the assignment schedule I posted here.

The idea was born out of my desire to eliminate the “Oh shit is that due tomorrow?!?!” late night moments of panic. I knew I wanted to have one master list of all of the things I needed to get done. Something about having absolutely everything I need to do written down and in front of me makes a challenging semester seem less daunting and more doable.

The best part about this schedule is that you can tweak it until it works for you! I chose to use Excel because it was more flexible than writing it in my planner, and I could add/delete tasks as the semester went on (and as professors changed the due dates a million times). 

During syllabus week, I go through each syllabus and list every task, reading, assignment or exam from the beginning of the semester all the way through finals week. By the end of the week, I have a comprehensive list of what I need to do for every single class, all in one place. I’m getting ready for the new semester and thought I’d walk everybody through how I organize mine:

Completed: mostly because I like to mark tasks off as I complete them, but also because it made it easier to quickly scan and find where I’m at in the list.

Type: I used this to discern between assignments and tests or quizzes, which I put in bold. I also put in the readings I assigned myself, and projects assigned by teachers.

Due Date: Alternating colors to block tasks by due date, so you can see at a glance how many things you need to do for that day.

Assignment: Quick description of the task or assignment. I put in any information given by the syllabus about the material the test covers. 

Class: Color coded! Amazing!

Tips for Second Year

Hey guys I’ve been really slacking on real posts lately because I’m actually on summer break and in denial that I’m a med student. But I thought I would put this post together on some things I did second year and some things I didn’t do but wish I did (mostly in terms of studying/being prepared to start Step One studying). 

Warning-this post turned out pretty long…..sorry?

1. Pathoma. In case you have missed me talking about him before, Dr. Sattar is the love of my life. I bought Pathoma because people the year ahead of me told me they wished they had used it before starting to study for boards. I actually wish I would have bought it first year to use it for my Foundations of Medicine class and Neuro. Not only did it help when it came to board studying, Pathoma saved my ass for my actual classes a few times. For every great professor you have, you have about 2 shitty/mediocre ones, and I learned more from Pathoma than I did from them. I would listen to the chapter at the beginning of the block (or split it up to listen to parts I knew we would learn about that week), and then I would listen to it again at double speed the night before my test. And not that you will need more reasons to love Dr. Sattar, but one of my classmates found this gem: 

2. Uworld/any Qbank. Ok so I waited until 3 months from my Step One exam date to buy Uworld, because I knew myself and I knew I probably wouldn’t use it before then because I’m definitely in the “less is more” camp when it comes to study materials. However, I did use it in my last block (GI) and after doing that I kind of wish I had used it all year. I actually really enjoyed doing the questions and they have great explanations. Obviously the questions didn’t cover all my class material but it was still a great study tool plus the more questions you do the more set you’re going to be for boards studying. However, some people I knew basically just studied for boards all second year instead of for classes. My advice is not to do that. Remember that there is more to med school than boards. Your actual course grades do matter and I just had to trust that my professors (and our new curriculum) were going to prepare me well.
