So our group had two new players join us. My Bi friend and her boyfriend. They both create gay characters. My friend making a snow leopard tabaxi chaotic evil assasin with an ausi accent. And her boyfriend making a furbolg lawful good paladin with an oath of vengeance that’s everyone’s dad. They planned on making them a gay couple that develops over the course of the campaign.

Friend: I can’t wait to get this gay ship sailing!

Me: wait. But doesn’t he have an oath of vengeance? He’ll kill <tabaxi> when he finds out he’s evil!

Actually, there’s a reason for this. The human brain interprets round shapes as friendly, and the color yellow is associated with happiness and energy. So this design basically reads, “I’m a happy friend!” Its basically the most non threatening design you can have, which makes sense, even for Krillin and Saitama.
