For a costume I pulled together super last minute, Negasonic Teenage Warhead (awesome name) turned out to be a lot of fun! Maybe I'll make her for real and wear her to PCC next year 📱👀 Adorable photo by @eurobeat_kasumi_ebk . . . #cosplay #deadpool #deadpoolcosplay #negasonicteenagewarhead #negasonicteenagewarheadcosplay #negasoniccosplay
I'm so so excited about #danganronpa3 coming out. I still remember being obsessed with the first two. I'll be forever mad that I never made a cosplay from the first one and also that I never got pictures as this cutie ❤️🏥 . . . #cosplay #danganronpa #superdanganronpa2 #danganronpa2 #danganronpacosplay #mikantsumiki #mikantsumikicosplay #sdr2 #sdr2cosplay #superdanganronpa2cosplay

D.Va is me Photos from Eurobeat Kasumi!
I’ve been asked a few times about how I smoothed out my Magic Armor Link Worbla armor before painting, so I decided it’s about time I did a mini tutorial on it! Be prepared for a long text post!
After trying numerous techniques for smoothing Worbla, I settled on Flexbond as my favorite.

By now you’ve probably heard the announcement that CosplaySupplies.com is now carrying Flexbond, a popular theatrical glue that up until now was difficult to come by in small quantities. After the jump, I’ll be testing and reviewing this product so you can see how it works on foam and Worbla!

Winter Soldier: Metal Arm Tutorial
(Photos by Antler Productions)
I recently rebuilt the metal arm for my Winter Soldier cosplay and took process photos every step of the way. So here’s a tutorial showing how I did it! I wanted an arm that was cheap/non-messy to build and lightweight/flexible to wear, so I came up with a method using foam and duct tape.

So I’m a day late for #tiptuesday … so #whelpwednesday it is..
Wanted to share with you guys how I made the floaty hips for my Sylveon! <3
1. Ironed on some interfacing on satin to help stabilize it. Also used this plastic grid/canvas stuff (found over by yarn/cross-stitching stuff) to give it rigidity.
2. Hand sewed the satin thru the holes of the plastic canvas. Painted with acrylics and ironed to heat set it in. (lower setting, as not to melt the plastic too bad)
3-4. Here’s what it looks like when it’s open. I attached 2 clear bra straps in 2 spots. One end sewn in the center of the back. The other end sewn into the front.
5-6. The front circular design is made from foam/worbla. (still needs to be painted) It is velcroed on each side, so I can take it off if I need to, and so I can get in/out easier.
7. Make sure when using clear elastics, you make sure there is an adjuster, like a bra strap. That way, you can adjust the straps if they get too tight, or if you need to tighten them.
8. Ta-dah! The elastics hug your hips and is tight enough that it won’t fall off!

Hopefully this is easy to understand and hopefully helps give you ideas for your own projects!

Big Sister Write-up
Photo: Chris Goss Photography Started: November 2014 Completed: September 2015 Total Cost: ~$200 Total hours: ~150 Awards: Best Journeyman Craftsmanship (Granitecon 2015)
For my second cosplay project I decided to take on the daunting task of the Big Sister from BioShock 2. I played the first BioShock back in August of 2014 and loved it to pieces. I immediately purchased both the sequel and Infinite as soon as I could. Before completing the first game, I was searching the web and stumbled upon some pictures of Big Sister. I fell in love with her design, but waited until I finished the second game before officially deciding to cosplay her.
This costume was such an experience. It took much longer than anticipated to complete, but I think that’s the nature of projects like this. Especially if you’re like me and haven’t worked with several of the materials beforehand.
To start out, lets break down the costume into bits. Since this costume’s so huge, this will obviously be a long ride!
