Adobe is discontinuing adobe animate.

Paid download will no longer be available post March 1st 2026, paid non-enterprise copies will cease support march 1st 2027, and paid enterprise copies will no longer get support post March 1st 2029.

Pirated copies as far as I know will not be affected.

Im not a fan of Adobe, this is a move that will very negatively effect communities and businesses, if you needed any more a reason to opt out of software as a service here it is.

Adobe annoys me because they monopolize the creative industry, and then dont put in the work to maintain it, with half functioning apps, predatory business practices, etc, I would highly recommend that everybody pirates the software and not give adobe any of your money.
