I'm crazy about multiple fandoms, but I have a few main fixations like DMC, FF7, Transformers, and more. I'm trying to figure out how to draw and if you have any questions feel free to ask!

Do you guys think that maybe the reason Jax pushed Ribbit away like that was because he got scared?

Maybe talking about his life before he joined the circus reminded him about what he did to his mom, and so he pushed Ribbit away because he didn't want to hurt her, but ended up doing that anyway.

And when she abstracted it fed further into the belief that he hurt/killed those near him (and probably fed into his "stereotypes" as well), hence why he was so rude to everyone and pushing them all away (especially Pomni).

Which could also be why he said "You're not supposed to love me," and why we saw Pomni in the place of his mother. He was scared he would hurt her too if she got too close to him.
