ARCHANGEL
The Illusive Man: "They call him Archangel. He’s been making a lot of noise on Omega, causing problems for the Eclipse, Blue Suns, and Blood Pack."
Commander Shepard: "Why are they all after him?"
The Illusive Man: "Because he’s a tactical genius, Commander. He’s disrupted their operations, cost them millions, and they want him dead. Naturally, I want him on your team."
conversations with a ghost, part 2.
doing things at the right age is literally a made up concept. you can start/pursue anything at any age. btw.

And So is the Golden City blackened With each step you take in my Hall. Marvel at perfection, for it is fleeting. You have brought Sin to Heaven And doom upon all the world. —Threnodies 8.13
Alright tell me in the tags, what’s Your Poem? That poem you heard once and it has dwelt within you ever since?
honestly like thank god for pets. it's my love that's unconditional; i would care for an animal regardless of how it feels about me. it's not about receiving love in return, but companionship, and i think that's a little different. that companionship can mean a lot of things for a lot of people. but i think especially for people with low social needs and trouble socializing with other humans it's such a relief. you don't have to pretend to be normal, or make eye contact, or suffer through social situations that take so much energy to navigate. being around people is exhausting for me, personally, even if i don't speak to anyone. for me, mammals like cats and dogs are a good fit because i like to cuddle, pet, and play with my pets. for other people who have, say, reptiles or insects, maybe physical contact or sociality is less important, but they still get the same basic joy in that easy, uncomplicated companionship. i don't need you to love me, but i love you and it makes me happy to take care of you and to know we share our lives like this
This has no right being this fucking funny
—Salvador Plascencia, from The People Of Paper
“death is nothing at all. i have only slipped away into the next room. i am i, and you are you. whatever we were to each other, that we still are. call me by my old familiar name, speak to me in the easy way you always used to. put no difference in your tone, wear no forced air of solemnity or sorrow. laugh as we always laughed at the little jokes we enjoyed together. play, smile, think of me, pray for me. let my name be ever the household word that it always was, let it be spoken without effort, no trace of a shadow on it. life means all that it ever meant. it is the same as it ever was. there is unbroken continuity. why should i be out of mind because i am out of sight? i am waiting for you, somewhere very near. just around the corner. all is well.”
