Arkild | lvl 6 Barbarian - Path of the Keeper (Homebrew)

This lady is my newest oc for a campaign I joined at lvl 6. We've played two sessions so far (the group already played together for a year or more, so I'm late to the party, but they've all been super welcoming :))

She's a homebrew barbarian who channels ancestors instead of raging. She can channel different ancestors and gain different temporary powers from them when doing so.

She's also a homebrew race, or she's human but har people are very closely connected to the memories of their ancestors. For some of them it's even stronger than that and they're able to connect with other people's memories as well - take them for safe keeping. Those are called Keepers. And my new GM was kind enough to give them a place in his world :) The downside to being a Keeper is that they slowly forget their own memories and has troubles figuring out whether or not the memories they remember are their own or someone else's.

Background story NPC for one of my players. He's super unlucky and pushed the player into stealing from a few houses while the town was partying elsewhere. The two of them did so bad - it was a lot of fun!

Jarl Cäbren

is another NPC in my campaign. He’s the head of House of Healing and the players met him last sesh.

My players wanted a map of the area and were pointed towards the local hunter & tanner who offered to draw one for them. When they picked it up the next day, they were handed a rabbit hide with the map drawn on the backside of it. Gotta make do with what you got.

The tanner left room for more to be filled out once the group starts traveling and meet people with knowledge of other areas.

I spent way too much time on this, but it was a fun little project to get me started with leatherworking too!

Lord Eiwon

This Geian noble has spent the past eight years occupying a mansion in a remote area where he offers shelter and food for any and all travelers.

He’s been super kind and forthcoming and seems liked by everyone the team has talked to, but he’s quite litterally got skeletons in his basement, so it’s been tough for the team to decide on whether to trust him or not, but at the end of last session, they made arrangements for him to assist them in their next goal.

It’s so cool the players have welcomed this char into the game as it was just a last minut thing I put in there to have an excuse to get them all together in one place. So I’m excited to get to expand on his character and include him a bit more in their story.

First time GM’ing - this is the four player characters from my campaign. They had their first sessions a few weeks ago where we played Friday-Sunday cause we live far apart and have to make the most of it when we get together.

We have our first-time player barb named Karl, who is looking for a place to belong and a family to care for.

There’s our kind hearted Isil, a healing firbolg cleric, who’s hunting down a magical sickness she can’t seem to heal.

Then we have our artificer Tommy, who is also searching far and wide for the magical sickness - things are personal for him.

And finally, our other first-time player, a ranger named Bergin. He is searching for a relative who has been sending him weirdly coded messages lately.
