A year ago today I was running barefoot down this beautiful hideaway hill towards the Arabian Sea living in these huts in Kerela, India... where I did sunrise yoga every morning. I think this was my day off :) The quality of this video is not the best, but I remember vividly the feeling I felt when recording it . Pleasure🖤Peaceful —I was skipping to see the sea and stopping for moments of complete Aww- & appreciation of life’s beauties . Taj Mahal Mosque is made up of red sandstone & the interior of the mosque is inscribed with delicate calligraphy! An art historian noted that the Taj "resembles the spirited sweep of a brush rather than the slow laborious cutting of a chisel". Which is completely agreeable; the work of this architecture appears astonishingly effortlessly. Truth.

So true.

When I am struggling, stressed, or feel like the obstacles will never reach the end…I remember this quote (well actually from now on I forever will)–Cheers to irony of mistakes-& anxiously clicking away, this quote unexpectedly popped up while cramming for my deadline today . Laughing now, but in the midst of feeling an overwhelming amount of frustration and exhaustion –due to lack of sleep and work overload– my concentration was disrupted and again productivity and focus hijacked.  Honestly, I almost screamed at a screen..expecting a hard restart or some annoying Ad, nothing but a bold quote presented itself & then something inside me slightly shifted. I took a deep breath, took another moment, and read it again. My new motto- &It is so relatively & true. My insight. So True. From me to you. 

“If it doesn’t challenge you, it wont change you”. 

If everything in life came to us with ease, how would it feel to truly succeed? What - would we even wish to achieve? Would the taste of triumph even exists? I guess I am enlighten by the way our universe twists. I believe that we are presented with challenges so we can change and continue to grow. Life is not always sunny in spring time, sometimes there is unexpected snow.. 

So.. “if it doesn’t challenge you, it wont change you" 

I will keep this quote in mind throughout my perceived difficult times. & maybe just a note to self –or to – if you’re reading this my friends, to you… Acknowledge your feelings and accept the reality of the process when you feel challenged.& For those days when it seems like everything just constantly backfires..  Accept the experience of the challenge &keep moving forward through the wildfires, overcome the obstacles and feel the ultimate satisfaction of finally reaching your hard earned desires…

Change. Grow. Be Challenged. Be Changed. & Continue to Grow, because your not done sprouting, -little spring butterflies, you have much yet to learn and much more know.. “

As we grow emotionally, spiritually, we are readied for further lessons for which teachers will appear. Perhaps the teacher will be a loving relationship, a difficult loss, a truant child. The time of learning is seldom free from pain and questioning. But from these experiences and what they can teach us, we are ready to learn. As we are ready, they come. 

Karen Casey stated it perfectly. Experiences teach us and we grow. Today I am striving to welcome these experiences without holding onto the pain and shrivel, but to feel and continue to sprout and grow. 

No matter what life is throwing your way, take it in. Feel your heart, feel it still beating, take a deep inhale, exhale fully and just know that this, this experience is just only helping you grow.
