Anyway not to praise the Mormon for his trans rep but I'm still giggling thinking about that side character in the last stormlight book that went "I did the paperwork to live as a man" that made adolin confused for like 30 seconds before immediately switching pronouns to the masculine form and nothing was ever mentioned again about that

Ever since my most recent reread of WaT, something I cannot get over is:

Taln swore a different oath than all the other Heralds. They all swore to uphold the Oathpact for Honor, but Taln swore it for the people of Roshar. I don't know if this is significant or just a coincidence, but I am going absolutely feral over the fact that the only one who never broke was the only one who didn't swear by a deity who proved to be deeply flawed.

when I was in high school my dad was speeding like crazy because I was running late to my job at the cemetery. and the cop who pulled him over gave him three whole tickets because who the hell goes 95 in a 25??? but then, when my dad went to court the cop didn’t show, and so the judge looked over at the charges and just couldn’t believe it. he thought the cop must’ve been so racist that he made it up because who the hell goes 95 in a 25? so my dad got all 3 tickets dismissed bc of racism. that he didn’t even experience because he was in fact going 95 in a 25.
