SIGNAL BOOST!

My dear people of tumblr, I recently saw in the news that a neighboring school district has suspended Dylan Deering for putting signs up encouraging students to masterbate instead of vaping.

 The suspension time is 10 days, that’s enough time to show up on a transcript which could impact his ability to get into college. If it were for a reasonable amount of time I would not be making this post, this campaign, or this blog.

Other students of the same high school have done far worse and been suspended for far less time. 

So today I ask you to help me protest the unfair punishment of Dylan Deering with by sending  posters via email that boast the catchphrase “don’t vape. masterbate.” to the school officials responsible for his unfair treatment.

additionally posting these posters online with the #dontvapemasturbate is also much appreciated.

At Target this lady told her son he couldn’t have a Wonder Woman doll because “that’s for girls” and then bought her daughter the same one. It got me thinking about how often I see people bar young boys from appreciating girls/women as protagonists and heroes, and my own experience with it as a kid.
