I never hid anything from any of you (other than happy surprises) and this won't be the first time, so:

They contacted us in the last year about this "project". The idea sold to us creators was something like "do the same thing as you always do and earn extra money from us!". Unfortunately i can't say MANY things about it because there are contracts and i don't want to risk it for being dumb. I've decided i would be OUT of this thing as soon as november and now I read stuff I really didn't know about, all in here and from YOU, i made the last decision. There were many promises as they really do know how to target cc creators who are either greedy or financially struggling and I do admit that they caught my attention, but as the months got by and as they would ask more and more PERFECTION from us (note: i have no idea who else is at the program. They kept us all anonymous to each other by holding us accountable of "our little secret") i noticed this thing wasn't for me at all. I was REALLY just waiting for the bubble to burst or for them to announce it so I could finally be free to AT LEAST talk about it with you guys because i was SCARED of their contracts.

This is now a recommendation to all the other cc creators who were caught in their webs: get out. You can just get out. They can't force you to stay. They can't force you to disappoint your community. It's OKAY to not know better. It's okay to make poor decisions based on your needs. But you need to get out as soon as you know better, or else excuses aren't gonna make you more palatable. Just stand up and get out.

I've been trying to reach out to large simblrs that have creator spreadsheets/recs and still keep Jellypawss listed in them, so I'd really appreciate some help from the actual simblr community in doing that. I cannot @ jellypawss but if they see this: I encourage you to read these articles on how harmful AI is in general and how that affects us in the long run. I don’t think using GenAI to make cc and previews is really worth it.

Sunwoven - Patio

Hey everyone!

Sorry for being a little late with this release. I originally planned to post it last weekend, but I always underestimate how much time swatches and photo editing actually take! But now it’s finally here, and I’m so happy to share it with you!

This set (and the upcoming ones in this theme) is really close to my heart. Around this same time last year, I made the Mediterranean Build Collection, and it looks like summer always brings out my Mediterranean side! I originally planned a multi-part boho collection, but I couldn’t resist mixing in those Mediterranean vibes.

If you’re curious about my thought process behind the set, I wrote more about it in an earlier WIP post—so I won’t go into all that again. But basically, I’ll be doing more parts in this series, focusing on different areas and rooms of a home. The first stop is the patio, and I got really inspired by lemon trees.

You’ll notice I included a few slightly opened doors, they function just like the regular closed ones, and Sims can walk through them without any issues.

The lemon tree has orange and lime swatches too, and some versions come without the pot, so you can use them in gardens as well!

All windows come in single and double versions, and in three sizes: small, medium (to fit kitchen counters), and tall (for short wall height only). Each one has a closed and opened version. I added slots to the window sills. They technically work, but they’re a bit fussy. From two angles you can place items just fine, but from the others, the game kind of forgets they're there and refuses to do it :D I decided to keep the slots anyway in case you still find them useful because I'm going to make some cute flowers next.

I hope you like this set, I had so much fun making pictures of it. I'm really proud of how the door turned out! Lastly I want to thank you for reaching 27 000 followers on Patreon! For me this is such a huge number, I can't believe I'm writing this post to that many people! I really hope you have fun with my items, that is my main goal! Let me know your thoughts!

Sunwoven - Garden

Hey everyone!

With great excitement, I'm here to show you the next part of the Sunwoven set! This one is all about gardening infused with a Mediterranean vibe.

I originally planned to make more plants, but then I had the idea to create a Vespa-like scooter that could function as a plant stand (since, sadly, it can’t work as a vehicle). It was definitely a bold move on my part, modeling it took quite a bit of time, and I wasn’t even sure it would turn out well. But I desperately wanted it in my game (and hopefully in yours too!), so I sacrificed a few plant-making hours for the great Vespa. And let me tell you, I have zero regrets. I love how it turned out, especially with the little plants sitting on it. I renamed it to Valia in simlish. :D And I will do more plants for every room I'm making so no worries.

I wanted to include something functional as well. Although I made two types of pots, the only other gardening-related object I found with gameplay function was the flower arranging table. I thought it would fit nicely with this set, so I created a tabletop version of it! You can place it on other tables too, making it more versatile. There’s just one small bug I noticed: when a Sim finishes the bouquet and places it in the middle of the setup, if you move it, you won’t be able to snap it back to that spot, unless you place the entire setup on the ground. This only becomes an issue if you want to add the sparkle effect (or whatever it’s called) afterward, since that interaction needs the table surface. But overall, it works perfectly for arranging flowers, so I hope you’ll still enjoy using it! This one item from the set requires the Seasons pack!

Other than uploading here the tray files, I uploaded (and will from now on my other past and future sets) it on my gallery as well, which is thevaliasims, you can find the rooms there as well.

For the next set I'm not sure which room comes next because finally we're gonna move inside the house! So I maybe upload a poll in the next couple of days for you to choose from!

Sunwoven - Entryway

Hey everyone!

Finally I'm here with the next part of the Sunwoven Collection which would be the Entryway. I have to admit, creating this set wasn’t quite the experience I had hoped for. I really wanted to make doors for this part, and I’ve been working hard on them for quite a while. But since I didn’t have enough time to finish all the variations, I decided to include them in the next part instead. I never really know how much work I’ll have at my graphic design job, sometimes it’s manageable, but other times, like these past few weeks, it gets really hectic. That’s why I had less time to finish this set. So sorry for being a little absent, this was the reason. But to make up for it, I made three plants instead, something I wouldn’t have had time for if I’d finished the doors.

About the set itself, I think it kind of speaks for itself. It includes furniture and decor objects for the entryway. My initial idea with Sunwoven is to add plant to each set I'm releasing. That was my first inspiration and I'm happy I could do the 3 new plants. I want to get better at creating plants and honestly I love plants in real life, I love taking care of them and I feel proud every time a new leaf appears. It was so much fun to browse plant webshops to search for references, and let me tell you I have some new plants on my wishlist to buy and also to transform to CC.

As I mentioned earlier, I added two pieces to this set that I actually own in real life. I love seeing my own things in the game. :D They are the round bag and sandals and I think they add a cozy, lived-in feel to the space.

I hope you'll like these items because although I had less time to do them but I really loved bringing this entryway to life.

Sunwoven - Kitchen Part 1

Hey everyone!

I'm so sorry for being this late with this set but it took really long to troubleshoot the islands so they are seamless, I redone the texture for the countertops at least 3 times, painting the checkered tiles by hand and the time it took to do all the wallpapers in 3 sizes... I won't describe the suffering, you can imagine. :D

But after all that I am really proud of the result and I haven't lost my love for kitchens, I just need some time to recover after this and not do a kitchen for a while. :D

I didn't want to make a traditional looking mediterranean kitchen because this whole collection for me is a mix of styles and I wanted to bring boho, mediterranean, elegant but homey into the mix and this is what I came up with. I shared my inspiration earlier for this set but I'll tell you some thoughts about it either way. I fell in love with the scalloped design a while ago and I wanted to use it for a possible farmhouse inspired set but I thought it would fit here perfectly with its playful look.

First I couldn't decide where to incorporate the rattan because I felt both the cabinets and the counters with this design feature would look too much but I wanted to give you the option to choose so I made two sets of each. One with the rattan insets and one plain option. Both have different end and corner pieces.

I added an accent counter with drawers and accent cabinet/shelf which has the same arched style as the fridge nooks.

I added backsplashes as separate objects with middle and end pieces. They have the same colors as the countertops plus a few different ones to give you more options.

There are 5 shelf items for a modular setting. I included middle, end and outer/inner corner pieces.

Lastly there are a bunch of wall tiles and wall paint swatches to complete the look. The wall tiles come with all the colors the countertops have with a few wall color pairings.

I really hope you like this set! It was a journey to finish it but I hope you'll enjoy using them! The stove on the photo is from my Baker's Kitchen set but for the next part I'm gonna make appliances to fill up that sad, empty fridge nook. (So the kitchen will have 3 parts because then I want to continue with clutter.)
