“No. I was on my way out and suddenly I was on the floor.” He explained. “It’s all a blur really.”

“Did you feel or see anything strange before it happened? I’m just trying to piece this puzzle together.”
“No. I was on my way out and suddenly I was on the floor.” He explained. “It’s all a blur really.”
“Well, you let me know if it gets any worse.” Tomas spoke, eyes looking around as more and more people awoke from whatever happened before. “Sorry to pry, but did feel anything weird before all of this happened or did you just pass out?”
“Yeah, I will.” Kane nodded. “No, I don’t think so. I was heading out, I wasn’t really in the party mood to begin with. I never made it out the door.”
"I don't know," she admitted. Of course she didn't want to die. She didn't want to have to do all this, but it was hard to fight against that feeling inside of her that pushed her to do it anyways. To sacrifice for others. No one had asked this of her, but it had still felt so necessary.
“Listen I get it. I have people I’d be willing to die for too.” Mia being at the top of his list, he wished he could have traded places with her, he would have done it in a heartbeat.
"I had a baby in the middle of a storm and then an unexpected second baby that i didn't even know I was carrying," Katherine said. "I think my day was a little more dramatic, and I'm not that much of a downie, Kane. Relax. It will all be fine."
“Sure, maybe you win most dramatic for this storm.” He nodded. “My girlfriend died in the last one.” He said with a shaky breath. He figured it was time to come to terms with it.
"You mean half the place randomly hitting the floor? Yeah, me neither," she commented as she downed her drink and looked at him with an emotionless glare - not that she, herself, had turned them off but she was so overwhelmed that it was hard for her to feel anything right now. "I guess we're all going to be questioned. Again"
“There has to be an easier way right? What is questing everyone going to do really? I’m sure whoever is the mastermind behind this is better at hiding than the cops are at figuring it out.”
🌙 — "Because of the storm?" It wasn't her understanding that it had been that out of control in Mystic Falls. "I don't..." It was then she realized she had to step back, let him mourn. "I'm so sorry."
“The storm in Mystic Falls. We were driving, the storm got too bad… I was knocked out for a while, Mia didn’t…” he couldn’t finish his sentence, but he didn’t need to. He knew she’d be able to put the pieces together.
Baldur was glad that the storm had come to an end and things seemed to be going back to normal. Well, as normal as they can because they still have a killer on the loose and no one seems to have any idea who's behind the attacks. He couldn't help but be worried, that whoever this was might target more members of his family, after his aunt Sage's being one of the victims. Baldur was outside on the hood of his car enjoying the warmth of the sun when he noticed the other approaching. "It's great to have the sun back. Are you doing alright?" @btiesstarters
Kane had been out for some fresh air, processing the recent events has been a lot. He had spotted his cousin and decided to go say hello. “About as good as I can be seeing as my girlfriend is back from the dead, but doesn’t seem to remember a single thing.”
The storm had brought a lot of chaos, he would have preferred his children to be born in a hospital but that wasn't what fate had in store. He had only been expecting one child but they had ended up with twins. Freyr and Thor were more than he could ask for, and he was holding Thor to keep him calm. @btiesstarters
“Hey, uncle Elijah.” Kane offered a small smile as he stepped closer. “He’s beautiful. They both are.”
"You sure?" she asked, reaching out to touch his head gently, feeling for any bumps she couldn't see. "I'm not part of the exclusive pass out club, so I'm perfectly fine. Should I find your parents?"
“Yeah, yeah I’ll be alright. There has to be some reason some people passed out and others didn’t.” Some connection had to be there. “Yeah, good luck. My parents seem to be busy with own stuff right now. I don’t even think they know I’m back here.”
Despite her not knowing who the man standing in front of her was, she couldn't stand to see how upset he looked. There was something about him that drew her closer. "Hey, are you okay? Is there somebody I can call?" She questioned as she reached out and placed a gentle hand on his shoulder.
He slowly walked closer to her, before reaching out for her hand. He was surprised to realize he could feel her, she wasn’t some hallucination from hitting his head. “Mia…?”
"just tell me what happened just before all of this went down." feriya spoke as she looked at the other. "anything you saw, felt.. because i want to get to the bottom of this." her old hunter extincts kicking in. @btiesstarters
“I don’t know anything, I’m sorry.” Kane had been heading out when everyone dropped.
It all happened within seconds of each person in the room, people dropping to the ground without a warning. Skeptical eyes as he looked around, none of it making sense as no one was drinking the same as eachother. "You passed out." Tomas spoke as he approached the other. "A lot of people fell." he remarked, eyes observing and scanning the other. "did you hurt yourself as you fell?"
“Not bad I don’t think. My head hurts a little, but i guess that should be expected.” Kane looked around the room to see the man was right. There were others that seemed just as confused as he was.
⌛ — despite the storm outside, the room was buzzing with energy, high emotions, positive and negative, concern and excitement. all of it was a lot to process as she tried to shut out the world to focus on what was coming next, and it was just when her mind started to go blank that she collapsed on the floor. stirring a few minutes later and trying to get her bearings, the seer admitted, her tone betraying her fear "i wish i could tell you..."
“Things are getting worse by the day.” Kane said not really to anyone, as he was sure she was well aware. He offered the girl a hand to help her up.
Why was she here? She had so many things to do - preparing a funeral for one - but she decided to drink to her heart's content. And with vampirism she found it hard to enjoy a buzz seeing as her immune system sped up the process of alcohol. Hearing a noise, though, she turned to see nearly a dozen people on the floor. "You know," she said as she used magic to slam all the doors shut and locked, "I really am not in the mood for this"
“Don’t have to tell me.” He agreed. “I was trying to leave. Not really in a party mood, and I’m certainly not in the mood for whatever the hell just happened.”
"I don't know," Katherine said, holding her newborn in her arms. "But a whole lot of you just passed out."
“Great.” Kane said. “Add that to the list of shit going wrong.”
Mia had arrived at the party and didn't know what to do with herself. She didn't know anybody here and she felt out of place. It was the most people she had been around from what she could remember but her memory was foggy to be fair. She had noticed a bunch of people passing out and didn't know what was happening. It was complete and total chaos. "I don't know, a bunch of people passed out. This place is weird." She found herself staring at the other, she felt like she might have known him in a past life but that was silly to think.
Kane felt like he couldn’t breathe. He had be dreaming, or maybe even dead. There was no other explanation for the girl to be standing in front of him. He rubbed his eyes, but when he opened them she was still standing in front of him. “I’m dreaming. This isn’t real. It can’t be.”
"It seems a few people have been... knocked out," he said, though maybe that wasn't the right word, but they had no other answers yet. "Are you okay?"
“Yeah, yeah I think so.” He didn’t bother mentioning his headache. “You okay? Is everyone else okay?”
