A Horrific Love Story

Finally the demo is on!!! Play Lost Love on itch.io NOW!! for free :3 And with very few bugs in this version!

I've been working on this game since September of last year and I have already showed at least a bit of the artworks in here. I'm constantly changing the style of the game since I started and now I think I reached the freaky-creepy feel I wanted for it.

The game is in Demo so it only contains the prologue and an eastereggish kinda thing for Chapter One...

I am committed to launch one chapter per month, obviously starting in April, since this month's chapter was already released! But if everything goes well I will launch way more than that, and as soon as I am done with them. I really love writing, I'm loving to code and make the art for this story.

It is only January

I was ready to admit that I am failing. But really, am I? Or am I also a victim? I wouldn’t even say "victim", but a warrior struggling with the most basic things. If I do have it all, as some would say, why is it so hard to get out of bed? Why is it that every time I set my mind to do the right thing, the most unbelievable or most obvious inconvenience is ready to throw me off course? I feel unable and useless, even knowing I may be a slight genius underneath this fucked-up prison that my mind and life have become. When I’m fine, I love the tick-tock of my new wristwatch; I always wanted to have one. Some days, it’s the sound of the torture that time is going by and I am stuck. I need isolation and some alone time. The closest thing I have to that is to sleep, to have a sick day and let myself go as if things are worse than they actually are. I have been told so many times that I am an invalid lie, that I’ve tricked myself into acting as if anything I feel is real. Not pain, not exhaustion, not love, nor discomfort. I was forbidden to exist in my fullest form, yet forced to keep on living. How terrible must it be, existing when even a text I write about myself, to myself, feels in the worst way selfish?

I’m not just complaining. I’m also admitting how wrong this is, and I’m sending the bill to the Gods who swore to protect me.

I haven’t been posting anything for a while. For the last three months, I’ve been working almost exclusively as a tattoo artist. I’m also working in programming, creating a management tool for the studio I work for. I’ve been studying theory and making game art for the last three years, and now I’m finally creating something with that knowledge—and also actually learning through practice.

With this post, I just wanted to share what I have been doing lately. I'm not much of a fan of using IG and TikTok for sharing my artwork and hobbies, and it has been such a long time since I was last here. I thought it would be cool to show up again. ૮ ˶´ ᵕˋ ˶ა

When I have free time, I’m developing a visual novel. I started a vampire dark romance story earlier, but now I’m creating a psychological thriller unrelated to the previous one. These are some of the game art. I'm trying to achieve a specific aesthetic that I think resonates with the vibe of the game. I don't have a release date yet, but the first chapter will soon be available on itch.io.

They move from person to person, shaping how we think, speak, and see the world. For him, memes are the building blocks of culture, they can uplift, inspire, or manipulate us. He points out that language is one of the most powerful memes, because it structures how we experience reality.

In the case of these kinds of images, they carry specific ideas between subtle lines and imaginary and can be very useful to illustrate ones minds desire, for vision boards or journal, for exemple.

I finally surrendered myself and I'm officially creating a Vampire Visual Novel.

Many details still TBD but that's a ideia that have been on my mind for so long, I just needed to create something.

A bit of Lore:

You are at Bloodletter Academy, a safe spot for vampires from all around the world. The main objective of the Academy is to keep vampires safe and educated about any arts they choose to perform, from dark magic to human mechatronics. The mission of Bloodletter Academy is to keep you safe and provided, as well as any other from your species. In these chaotic times, Vampires have to remain loyal to each other.

Hermes:

Hermes has been a vampire since ancient Greece. He is a clever scholar that has been keeping safe the library of the Academy for centuries. There's where the codename Hermes comes from, most vampires don't use their birth name, it is hard to keep up with just one ego for so long.

He is a keeper of knowledge and a lore whisper.

Dimitri:

Dimitri is our edgy boy. He has a melancholic undertone and radical ideas. Transformed into a vampire by Russian experiments in WW2, he is a constant reminder of the cruelties humans are capable of. Engaging with Dimitri may makes he tells you his most dark secrets. From all of those in the Academy, he may be the one that understands you better in a matter of not being able to choose your fate.
