How fucked are our teens

Technically I’m not in my teens any more. I’m 22 but I only recently stared to enjoy my life. Like i’ve felt so depressed in high school and i didn’t even know it! I can see that now looking at my younger brother. School was spouse to be the most important thing in our lives in our teens and that was the only thing our parents gave fuck about. If my grades were good, if i attended all of the classes, if i was studying. I can tell you now, as someone in University, I don’t know most of the basic stuff that they  taught me in high school, because i was only spouse to know it for test and that was it. I really wish school taught me, because learning is so fun! And there are so many  issue when it comes to the educational system  nowadays ! And i think our parents generation don’t know about them, because they didn’t have them! And why teens aren’t asked if there’re happy, what made their day, how are their relationships with friends, what did they dream about today, what made them laugh out loud?! Why the only question that i heard  from my parents was “how was school”?! Aren’t you interested in the person i’m becoming!? Why do you think a stupid and meaningless thing as grads define me ?!

In days like this, when it’s afternoon, but the whole world behind the window is black and cold, and I sit in a bright room, worm, i feel life. I don’t feel alive, but i feel life flying by. All those people in their cars, going somewhere, in cold, all the darkness, and you. Just you. In the light of nothingness. I can just smell it. Life running out.
