Big fan of the implication that the four apostles were broken down into the first vital instruments/the Watchman series and spellcaster's pen. It makes me wonder if the Hell Guard's giver suppression cuffs are what remains of their founder. It makes sense, they don't like Givers but I find it hard to believe those cuffs are made by anyone other than a Giver. If their founder was the creator then they can't really say anything against using them and they wouldn't need to continually find someone to remake them since if a regular Giver made them, they would dissolve once the creator Giver dies
The theory of a Giver losing the light in their eyes once they awaken an Instrument is also kind of confirmed if so. We see with Follo, Amo and Zanka that they lost the highlight in their eyes once they gained an Instrument, but that theory stops holding water when you take into account the fact that Kyoka and Goka aren't drawn with highlights in their eyes but aren't confirmed Givers. If they use the cuffs for their Hell Guard duties and the cuffs are actually Instruments, then by using them they lose the light in their eyes as they technically become Givers
Either way, super hype to get more world building
