The Castles of Burgundy: 2-4 players, age 12+. Super fun territory builder with dice and tile placement. Nice tight game with a mechanism in place if your dice rolls are terrible.
Dark Souls: the Board Game: 1-4 players age 14+. Based on the video game of the same name this is a ridiculously hard game to play, you are going to die! You will want some house rules, a few at least. When you have them this is a super fun game! Upgrading your equipment and leveling up your abilities is extremely satisfying. The miniatures are great looking! It would be helpful if you have a group who coop well together. I really enjoy playing this game but I probably would not recommend it to new gamers.

Tapestry: 1-5 players age 12+. This is an awesome civilization building game with fantastic miniatures! There is a little bit of something for everyone, whether it be tile placement, dice rolling, tech tracks or hand management. You advance along four tracks, (science, technology, exploration, and military) to help you build your city, improve benefits and earn victory points. It even comes with a solo variant that I have yet to try. Great for your board game group or family game night!
Paladins of the West Kingdom: 1-4 players, age 12+. What a fun game! That being said, it maybe isn’t for new gamers, there is a lot to keep track of here and if you are not on top of things it can cost you. However I find it is one of the main reasons that I love this game! It also has fun art and lots of wooden pieces.

Parks: 1-5 players, age 10+. Parks is a quick worker placement game with beautiful art depicting the US National Parks.
Hadara, 2-5 players, Ages 10+ Very fun resource civilization building game. You get three epochs to make your world shine above all others!
Lord of the Rings - 1-5 players, age 12+. A classic from Reiner Knizia with illustrations by John Howe, this cooperative game is great fun to play but difficult to win. It will make you want to try again because you know the next time you’ll win for sure! Don’t bet on it!! I love this game!
Thanos Rising - Avengers: Infinity War - 2-4 Players, Age 10+. This is a fun, cooperative trip to the Marvel Universe. Players recruit heroes and defeat villains as they try to keep Thanos from collecting Infinity Stones.

Battlestar Galactica: The Board Game - 3-6 Players, Age 14+. A fantastic game that maintains the feel of the show! This game is part cooperative, deduction, bluffing, politics, science fiction and hand management. There is something here for everyone! This is the game that got me heavy into board games. And who secretly wouldn’t love to be a Cylon!
