State Champs | Slam Dunk South 2014

Got to see my favourite band three times in one weekend, which was great and I got to shoot them. Super happy with the photos, and it was such fun hanging out with them and their videographer Elliot!

I got asked to shoot a Leeds Art Colleges collection, Melissas work is on ageism and some of my shots are going to be going into the zine that she is creating. Which I will be getting a copy of and will be sure to post.

I have never shot anything like this, but I loved it, I got to be creative with gels and the lighting and the model was fantastic and took direction so well which meant I could concentrate on getting the best photos I could.

I've worked Slam Dunk festival for a while now, but usually only Leeds. This year I was given the opportunity to do all the dates (Hatfield and Wolverhampton) and I obviously said yes. This meant long hours, and travelling down to the next venue on the production bus, trying to get some sleep and waking up at the next venue.

It was one of the best weekends of my life, even though I ached and was so tired it was always such a great atmosphere filled with people who have a passion for music just like me. I got to spend the day with my Slam Dunk family, photograph music and watch some of my favourite bands play. I literally could not ask for more.

Some of the photographs I have taken are possibly my best and I'm so proud of what me and Jade have achieved with the photographs this year. We have got full coverage of all the bands and got some incredible shots. And my photographs ended up on MTV.co.uk which is out of this world!

I can finally post up Lotties collection now they've been down the catwalk. I love this collection and it was so nice to see how passionate Lottie was about it, you could see how hard she had worked on them. 

I'm really happy with the photographs, its not something I usually shoot or the style I shoot in but I love how they have come out as they are striking and show off her garments well. I really want those dungarees haha!

STEELCATS | LEEDS 

Leeds based fire-breathing, angle grinding, trapeze, hoop and silks ultimate babes Ladies and gentlemen I introduce the Steelcats, I get to work with these beautiful ladies every week at FUEL.

I tend not to post these on here as I in all honesty forget as its something I do so regular I don't think to post them!

Bad Rabbits | May 2014

The most fun I've had at a gig in a long time! Such an incredible band that everyone should check out as I think its impossible not to like them. The nicest guys and its so great seeing them have fun on stage.

Joey Lawrence is one of my favourite photographer and one I probably take most influence from, his work is just so perfect. Hopefully one day I can great work as great as his.
