ESSOS AU + Lyanna, Arthur and lil’ Jon, living a simple life by the Orange coast, very far from Westeros’ mess…
“Dance with me,” she pleads. He does. Arthur does not know the steps, but he catches on quick enough. It is so easy. As easy as it is to slip into this lie. It no longer shocks him, how simple it is to let Arthur and Lyanna fade and die away until all that is left is Ulrick and Dara. A simple fisherman and his wife. Tonight, as he dances with Lyanna in his arms, the lie goes down twice as sweet. Sweeter than Volantene wine or sugar beet candy. Sweeter than Lyanna’s lips pressed to his, soft but insistent. (…) Tomorrow there will be time for honor and regret. Tonight he would believe the lie, just a little longer.

arthur dayne x lyanna stark : squire AU + modern-bodyguard AU (for this prompt on @asoiafrarepairs : “arthur, teach me how to fight…"
(squire au) A wooden sword. Was he trying to humiliate her in front of the all garrison? “You gave me that only because I am a woman, Ser!“ He turned at the comment and seemed almost offended. “Do you know where I come from?”, he asked. “Do you know who I serve?” She did know. Ser Arthur Dayne came from Dorne and served the Targaryens. Two cultures where women could be as fierce & revered warriors as men. “Still,” her chin rose defiantly, “I know what you are thinking. That I am unable to fight because I am a woman!”
(modern bodyguard au) “It is just a matter of a few days. A week at the most. And then, you could be back to your life.” She didn’t reply at Arthur’s words. What life? The one where her traditional family wanted to impose restrictions and bounds upon her? The one where she was in a relationship with a man owning at least seventeen unethical businesses? The one where the only friendly ear to listen to her problems was the bodyguard of the said-previous man? A sigh. And then she spotted the hidden pistol in the holster at his belt. “Arthur”, he turned at his name, “…teach me how to shoot.”

books (re)read in 2021 + @librarysource's mission 2: page to screen — the book thief by markus zusak
I wanted to tell the book thief many things, about beauty and brutality. But what could I tell her about those things that she didn't already know? I wanted to explain that I am constantly overestimating and underestimating the human race-that rarely do I ever simply estimate it. I wanted to ask her how the same thing could be so ugly and so glorious, and its words and stories so damning and brilliant.
