Hi! I'm Kat, a fantasy illustrator specializing in Warhammer, D&D, and original characters.
I'm opening $10 colored sketch commissions while I finish setting up this blog. Feel free to DM me on Discord ( @ KatTsuki ) with literally any idea. If you'd like to see more examples of my work, just ask! I'd be happy to send my portfolio.
First non warhammer, non commission drawing ive done in a while! 🥳✨️
This is my sona on her way to go do commissions for my friends. 🫡
I started this for my new commission sheet, but I ended up liking it enough that I wanted to post the full piece on its own too. I also havent properly drawn my sona in years, so this was a really nice excuse to bring her back and update her a bit ✨️
(I realized I forgot her tattoos but eh, we roll with it)
Current WIP for my full commission page to show off the different commission levels! ✨ Managed to finish the "concept sketch" and "clean colored sketch" examples tonight.
(It's 4 AM... but to be fair, I didn't start until midnight. 😅)
Also, this is my first full-body drawing of my little sona in years, and I'm honestly really happy with how it's coming along. I think this is going to turn out really nicely!
Karos is a young apothecary in training and scout during the Great Crusade. he is undersized and overly empathetic, so he was sort of shoveled towards a program that didnt reward strength as much.
Rhael is a senior apothecary, Karos’ mentor, and the person responsible for teaching him nearly everything he knows. He is controlled, observant, deeply protective, and significantly softer than he wants anyone outside of Karos to realize.
Their relationship begins as mentorship, becomes family, and eventually settles into something neither of them is especially good at naming.
Unfortunately, they are Blood Angels, so peace was never going to last.
Within the cannon (in game) timeline :
Rhael dies protecting Karos during the battle of Beta Garmon, taking a detonating sniper round. Karos survives the battle, and is to be shipped to terra, to fully ascend to being a space marine and aide in protecting the seige of terra. However the ship is shot at mid jump, and a catastrophic engine failure strands the ship in the warp. Karos survives, but is lost in the warp for what feels to him like only twenty five years. When he finally emerges, ten thousand years have passed, the Imperium he knew is gone, and Rhael has become the last piece of home he can never return to.
In the Non-Cannon (happy) timeline :
They are happy and gay space marines and Rhael lives to see Karos Ascend. The horus herasy never happened And they have a beautiful domestic life as apothecaries together.
These are some of their older designs and illustrations. My style has changed a little since then, but I still love these pieces and wanted to finally give them a proper introduction.
Karos is mine. Rhael is also mine. Their suffering is unfortunately also mine.
I am very normal about them. I draw them... a normal amount.
.... dont mind Rhael putting on relationship weight in the happy au. Soft marines are perfect.
