Coyotes trying their damndest to get domesticated
lenin liking cats is genuinely the most him thing i could ever think of. like yeah. lenin likes cats. i could've guessed that without it ever being a fact
All the best commies and agitators I've known love cats. It would be weird if Lenin *didn't* like cats.

thank you australian government from protecting me, a child (21 year old) from the scary hells of the internet
alright I've got to do some quick math to explain attitudes towards AI to my boss.
we're looking to create an AI policy, and when we were talking about this, my boss (older millennial) was genuinely shocked to hear that younger people do not (seem) to view AI positively (a la the recent commencement speakers being booed)
please rb for larger sample size!
Question 1/3
What is your age, and do you feel AI is a net positive or net negative in our lives today?
under 18, AI is a net positive
under 18, AI is a net negative
18-29, AI is a net positive
18-29, AI is a net negative
30-45, AI is a net positive
30-45, AI is a net negative
46-60, AI is a net positive
46-60, AI is a net negative
over 60, AI is a net postive
over 60, AI is a net negative
Question 2/3
How often do you visit or interact with museums/archives (whether in person or online)?
Frequently (multiple times per month)
Often (multiple times per year)
Occasionally (a couple times per year)
Rarely (once every couple of years)
Never :(
Question 3/3
If you saw a museum was using AI in exhibits, marketing, research, etc., would you be more or less inclined to visit that museum?
under 18, more inclined
under 18, less inclined
18-29, more inclined
18-29, less inclined
30-45, more inclined
30-45, less inclined
46-60, more inclined
46-60, less inclined
over 60, more inclined
over 60, less inclined
Thank you for helping with this data collection. Please rb for as big a sample as possible!

Yes yes i know love is love. But they are still killing CHILDREN. over this.
"Love is love" is a milquetoast cishet marketing phrase
Pride is a FUCK YOU to a society that wants us dead.
"gender is a social construct": fairly easy for leftists to understand
"race is a social construct": a bit harder to swallow for some but still reasonable
"mental illness is a social construct": this one gets you hate mail in your inbox
the effects and symptoms of mental illness do in fact have material consequences but "disorders" as clinical categories are not real in any metaphysical sense; they are terms created for the purpose of describing lived experiences. you can't see or hold onto a person's depression any more than you can hold their gender in your hands. western psychology may have legal definitions of and ramifications for being diagnosed with illnesses but they do not physically exist outside of that context. any opposition to behaviors like self-diagnosis is therefore invalid when viewed in this structural context
"childhood and adulthood are social constructs" is like this too.
age and growth as biological facts exist, but the meaning we layer onto them, and especially the idea that there are age categories with hard boundaries you can sort people into, categories that reflect binary states like "dependent" vs "independent" or "developing" vs "developed" - none of that is objective material fact. it's stuff that only forms part of our shared reality because we let it. this is obvious if you think about it for a few minutes and it obviously has real and often negative impacts on people's lives.
point this out in a supposedly leftist space, however, and you will get death threats
He MIGHT like hugs
And now I want to hug him so badly, thanks comrade.
Lol, maybe the Soviet Bear *is* for bear hugs, since commies in general sure seem to love our hugs. Stalin in all the portraits and paintings looks like a total DILF who gave the *best* dad hugs, and here's photographic evidence Castro was a massive hugslut...
And didn't Castro himself cuddle a bear cub while visiting the USSR?
I think that's my fave pic of him ever, it's the cutest thing. I need to cuddle a baby bear from a commie state. Not possible to cuddle a Soviet grizzly or polar cub anymore, but China's baby pandas are looking awfully hug shaped lately...
all the “peer pressure is bad” education we give kids is practically useless because all it cares about is telling them that Drugs Are Evil rather than the much more useful lesson of ‘the person who responds to you saying you don’t drink by telling you they’ll find a way to get you to is also going to be shitty about all your other boundaries’.
god forbid you teach kids that their consent should be respected rather than about the inherent immorality of all the sinful actions of their peers
Only a general women's movement has the power to liberate trans women, but only a union of trans women organized within such a movement has the power to ensure that it does liberate trans women. Likewise, only a proletarian socialist movement has the power to liberate women in general, but only a general union of women organized within the proletarian movement has the power to ensure that it does liberate women.
As an oppressed people, we cannot rely on the privileged classes to discover our own interests, but as a minority we also cannot rely on our independent forces to overthrow such powerful systems. A strategic alliance of all oppressed people's is needed to build socialism, whilst autonomous unions of oppressed people are needed to protect ourselves and advocate for our interests within the coalition.
Do not mistake the failures of particular movements in the US for an indication of the general impossibility of such a strategic alliance. The reactionary hegemony is a temporary phenomenon, whilst class struggle is the permanent condition of class society. No movement will appear if we don't build it, but history is on our side.
sixpencee got less hate for straight-up admitting to owning a child slave than I do for saying children shouldn't be treated as property
like i'll say "parents should not be able to unilaterally override their child's consent" and some dipshit will see the word consent and the smoke from the hollowed-out crater that used to be their critical thinking skills will immediately coalesce into a message in my ask box calling me a pedo. no fucking hope for any of you
which I say, by the way, because one of my closest friends was able to be effectively disappeared off the face of the earth and sent into the woods to be sexually abused and tortured into being straight due to parents effectively owning their children as property. if you are a minor your consent simply does not actually matter - whether you get vaccinated, whether you get to go to school, whether people get to hug touch you, what you wear, how your hair is cut, what your hobbies are, whether you get to have friends, and yes, whether you want to be sent to a torture camp in the woods or not - your consent is entirely meaningless because your parents can simply override it, and there's fuckall you can do about it, because you aren't a person, you're just property. the family dog has more protections against being abused than children do
but! if you ever point this out you get called you a rapist
#second to last sentence is exactly it#one of the first child abuse cases ever heard in the united states had to be taken up by the ASPCA (American Society for the Prevention of#Cruelty to Animals)#and people love to go ''it's not because they saw her as a dog haha silly!! it's just because there was literally no one else who would take#the case seriously!!''#(the her in question being mary ellen wilson / mary ellen mccormack, the first child who's abuse was thoroughly documented and brought to#court)#but it says a lot that the first child abuse case to be brought to the legal system was seen as so preposterous that an animal cruelty org#was the only viable legal route#in the united states animals have always had more rights than children, and they have always gotten their rights *before* children#there is a disturbing history in the united states of children's rights cases only being validated or supported by animal welfare orgs#because animals had welfare rights before children. animals.#there's a lot more to this but it's a piece of history in the united states that i think of a lot#in the united states, children are THE most vulnerable class of people. full-stop.#and everyone should care more about it. like right now#info
(@deer-scribe )
I am reminded of a line from a commie song about a particular historical revolution, where a racialised group is saying of the ruling class "they treat their animals better than us" and I think I liked that song *so* much as a teenager because of this parallel.
even if that random trans woman did do all that I don't care lol
very funny that literally just riffing on a common tumblr joke about women, but with an especially marginalized group of women, has people months later coming to me like "oh yeah well what about what THIS trans woman you've never met did?" and the answer is still I don't care lol
if I had posted the same thing without the word "trans" the population of this website would go "true" and then keep scrolling
i actually don't think you should have to be able to work and do good in college and pay for a car and utilities and rent and a mortgage to live a good worthwhile life I don't think the worth of a human should be measured in their "usefulness"
