I always love a good "I'm gonna sneeze!" scenario, but there are very few things on this planet that get me more riled up than someone saying "I'm gonna sneeze from the _____!" or "The _____ is gonna make me sneeze!"

stark contrast to my last post, but I remembered a request to post some ragweed sneezes a while back so here's a recording I did a few weeks back I think? Bit different sounding than my normal sneezes - ragweed really brings out the big and intense sneezes for me sorry if thats not yalls jam lol

I'm generally not into cat allergies, but today I was at the cat shelter donating the food and litter I had left after my cat passed. And I came to think of this little meet cute scenario.

A is allergic to cats; it's a slow-burn reaction so it takes some time of exposure to really gear up, but once it's in motion they're going to end up sneezing for hours. They find a stray that's really hungry, but otherwise healthy, so they start putting out food while they look for an owner. There's no owner. They can obviously not take it in, so they bring it to the local cat shelter, where B volunteers. A and B hit it off immediately, and A lingers much longer than they should, trying so hard to hide their allergies.

Then they keep showing up to "check how the cat is doing" - while they do want to make sure the cat is doing okay, the real reason is because they want an excuse to hang out with B again. They take some allergy meds which takes the edge off and delay the reaction, but doesn't make them non-symptomatic. And they keep trying to hide that they're allergic, because B will probably never want to go out with someone who can't be in the same room as a cat for more than an hour before they dissolve in the most disgusting sneezing fits.

Eventually they exchange numbers and go out on a date, which turns into more dates, and eventually A has to reveal to B (who of course has cats of their own) that they're actually quite allergic to cats. Luckily, B doesn't seem to mind, and A doesn't mind suffering a bit for their relationship. Their symptoms are, after all, not dangerous, just annoying.

B on the other hand, can hardly believe someone like A, who is funny, smart, kind, and sexy as hell, would be interested in them... and cherry on top? How deliciously sneezy they are. 😏 Now B has to find the courage to reveal to A that they're very, very turned on by A's sneezing... but it probably won't be a problem. ^^
