Nico Nico Nii! Become the criminal world’s number one heister with this build! Nico Yazawa is one of the 9 members of the school idol group μ's, and member of the BiBi sub-unit. And now we’re gonna give her a gun. The Nico Yazawa build.

BUILD OVERVIEW:

This started as a joke. Yours truly is a big fan of Love Live, something that’d show quickly if you know me even a little bit, so as any fan or X, I like to apply some X into everything else, this time Payday. Who would’ve imagined that this build would’ve been one of the better builds. While this might seem like your bread and butter kind of dodge build, every single detail has its reasoning behind it:

Nico Nii inspired everyone to do their best! Gotta get Inspire ace and make your teammates move and reload faster and revive them!

BiBi is Nico’s suub-unit! Maki and Eli aren’t around, so two other cops oughta do for now. Joker skills aced.

Your songs are fire, and will set people on fire. Basic shotgun skills with Dragonbreath rounds.

Nico’s body build is small and petite, perfect for dodge, and set yourself free from any electrified captors with Shockproof aced.

Dodge and crits go Hand in Hand, but also we equip our Micro Uzi with a Maki suppressor! Suppressor skills with a highly concealable, Japan-available gun that’s also perfect for fishing for crits.

No good One Down build is complete with Nine Lives, and if Nico’s time in the spotlight comes to an end, it will be with a Swan Song.

Unfortunately, none of my friends are both into Love Live and Payday, so someone out here will maybe appreciate this build that started off as a joke.

Hopefully. Free time’s not as available to me as it was when I started to blog, so I can only platy Payday every so often. This blog’s content is mostly Payday 2 builds, but I’ve been hoping to expand the type of posts I make here.

Payday 2 Build - John Wick

John Wick Chapter 2 is out, and what better way to celebrate this new movie than to boot up Payday! Wick is a retired hitman, who’s out for revenge for the people who’ve wronged him. At least that’s the Wick in the movies. This one shoots cops, robs cars and crashes malls. Inspired by the weaponry from his first appearance on the big scree, here’s the John Wick build.

Primary Weapon: Raven Shotgun with 000 Buckshot and modded for concealment.

Secondary Weapon: Contractor Pistol modded for concealment. Any other pistol of similar damage and concealment (i.e. Crosskil, Chimano Custom, Interceptor, etc).

Melee Weapon: High concealment melee of your choice.

Armor: Lightweight Ballistic Vest

Suggested Perk Decks: Hitman, Crook, Grinder.

BUILD OVERVIEW:

Here’s a build that I’ve been wanting to make ever since I rewatched John Wick with @skullivan a week or so ago. Especially since Wick uses a KSG (Raven) shotgun in one scene, and the Contractor pistol looks and sounds amazing, it has quickly turned into one of my favorite pistols in the game.

In this build, I tried to keep a synergy between the shotgun and the pistol. Silencers not only boost the concealment of our guns but also push their damage a little bit; we get all the standard shotgun skills, Close By basic to be able to reload while sprinting, and Overkill Aced. I used to have all the pistol skills too but had to make compromises to be able to get Nine Lives and Swan Song. With the rest of our skill points we get first aid kits, the go-to equipment for dodge builds, armor-boosting skills for our LBV, and with out leftover points we boost our stability and accuracy to maximize our pistol.

The point of this build is to use the Raven in close ranges, activating Overkill will allow us to deal with enemies up to mid ranges before damage falloff starts to affect the shotgun’s effectiveness, and peck off enemies at long distances with our pistol. With the damage boost from Overkill, our pistol will melt through any enemy, Bulldozers only taking a few shots, the first ones to deal with its armor and the rest to the face. This build’s major weakness are shields, as we don’t have any armor piercing weapons or explosives, but with enough skill they’re easy to circle around and kill with a shot or two.

As fun as this build is, the skill spread is not maximized enough to work well in One DOwn. Perhaps if you take away the shotgun skills to maximize our pistol and get Inspire it’ll be OD worthy. For now, stick to Deathwish with this build.

Payday 2 Build - McCree

You know what time it is. It’s... time to shoot cops with a six shooter, that’s what time it is! Here we have a build submitted by @9guides​ inspired by none other than the offense hero McCree from Overwatch. He’s a character who wields a high power, 6-chambered revolver to deliver accurate and powerful blows and flashbangs to stun his enemies. The McCree build.

BUILD OVERVIEW:

You best hope you have some good aim with this build because your main source of damage will be the Peacemaker and you better make sure those 6 shots count! Even with pistol skills this antique revolve takes an awful long time to reload, specially for Deathwish. Bloodthirst Aced speeds up all weapon reloads whenever you get a melee kill thankfully. With all the stacks of damage form Trigger Happy not much will stand in your way, Bulldozers, Tasers and Cloakers only taking a couple of shots in the head to be disposed of. That is if you land your shots. And if you miss the cranial area and hit some other part instead, chances are that they’ll recoil (chances=25%). Full dodge will mean that we won’t get hit that hard when things get sticky, and we do get hit in the face with high velocity lead we have 11 First Aid Kits to recover. Don’t forget to share them with your teammates! Don’t be that guy. Unfortunately all flashbangs in Payday are used against us, but we can stun enemies with the explosive tips of our handy dandy Plainsrider bow. Or electricity provided by our melee weapon. However, I might recommend another sort of more damaging melee weapon, as getting a kill with it to trigger Bloodthirst’s increased reload speed with the Electrical Brass Knuckles of the Buzzer can be difficult, especially if you’re surrounded by plenty of cops.

Here’s the link to the original build. It didn’t receive much change, switching Dire Need Basic for acing Martial Arts so it’s easier to activate Bloodthirst. Dire Need + Heavy Impact Aced seemed a bit too much just for 6 shots. If your armor breaks and dodge fails, just one good stunning bullet won’t do much to save your butt in Deathwish.

The only issue with this build is that it has a great weakness to Taser. Watch out for them because you only get 6 shots at them or just one if you’re holding the bow! Try investing in Shockproof Aced if they prove to be too much to handle.

TL;DR: the prime time to play DeathWish is during HIGH NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOON

I love the Diamond! Both loud and in stealth! It’s one of the few heists that I can think of that keeps on funneling spawns on your way to the objective so focusing on the DMs instead of the objective doesn’t feel bad.

I shudder whenever I remember the speedrun achievement and how bad the cars handle, the flip and spin.

Here’s a fun little story regarding my first Kawaii Mask: I didn’t have one for like a year. It was very upsetting and farming Jewelry Store gave me everything but the Kawaiis. I was playing with @skullivan and then he got his first Kawaii Mask. I was pretty jealous, but whatever, nothing I could do about it. And in the next heist he got a second one. After expressing my displeasure jealousy with probably a really loud groan, he told me about GoonMod and how it has In-game mask trading. We both installed it and he gave me his spare Kawaii Mask.

Chef hat Wolf never ceases to amuse me as well.
