Glue In A Page From A Magazine (Circle The Words You Like)

Before speaking on this page, I will apologize for my neglect again... I honestly haven't even really been working on my journal since I moved, but I promise I will, starting today.

So for this page, I took it my own way, and instead of just taking out an article of something, I just cut words I like out of lots of magazines and a few phrases, and quotes too. The funny thing is that this page is so collectively, me.

I have nice words like angel, create, and beauty, and then I have negative words like bitch, dumb, monster, and damaged. I really like how this page turned out, how I put them every which way so it's interesting.

This was a simple page but one of my favorites.

Give Away Your Favorite Page Random Colorful Fun, and Pills from the Cabinet

So, since this was my first Wreck This Journal I didn't really get to rip out many of the pages since I had done the backs of some of them before seeing that it was supposed to leave the book. I also don't ever want to give my circle page away, since that is my favorite and I put SO MUCH work into it. SO I masked this page in crayon dripping, and the crayon drippings already started cracking and falling out because of the 3D elements that bend the pages when it's closed.

For the other page I glued in some drugs that my mom was tossing a few years ago, some of you might recognize the behavioral meds in there, some multi-vites and some aspirins as well, I used these also for a photography project I did a few years ago. (I think pills are pretty, especially the colorful ones.) I put this quote in not because I take medication, but because I should be, but refused to. I used to go to therapy and I was supposed to be on medication for my depression and my ADHD but I told my mom I wasn't going to go back and that I would never take drugs who change who I am. I know it sounds silly, but I did, and I don't regret it, yeah I have hard days, but I power through. =]

Blank Page

For this, I was just really bored so I colored the whole page with crayons and I couldn't decide what to do to make it less boring.

More Ways To Wreck This Journal

Infuse This Page & Random Page

It was kind of a pain in the ass to draw all of those flowers because I did it in pen, so they kind of turned out weird and crappy because I couldn't erase. I think it looks kind of cool all together though. I think I infused it with some orange blossom spray or something, but you can't even smell it anymore.

For my other page I cut up a bunch of papers I had to make paper stars, I love the holographic-ness of it.

Write Or Draw With Your Left Hand

It is really hard to do anything with your non-dominate hand, but I am damn proud of this, I drew it in pencil first and then went back over in pen and colored and decorated it. I wanted to cheat so much, I wanted to just use my right hand, but I forced myself to follow the rules and it's still beautiful!

Fill in This Page When Angry & Blank Page

I filled and smeared a bunch of very anger fueled rants and drew little angry faces, and decided it was only proper to write U MAD BRO on the opposing page. I like how this turned out even though it's random and very brightly colored haha.

Cut Through Several Layers & Blank Page

I've posted my cut through page before, there was no method to my madness there.

But recently I got some gold paint and I freaking love shiny and metallic stuff, it's just a good time. So I knew for sure I wanted to just paint a page gold.

When I was thinking of and looking for quotes I came across this J.R.R.Tolkien quote and being a nerd I just had to abide, and it's a good quote to live by as well.

This Page Is A Sign

It took me, so, damn, long, to think of what my sign should say.

At first I was going to make it a stop sign and put all the things I wanted to end like discrimination and stuff, but then I changed my mind. So I was going to do something silly and put "you can't spell amusement without semen" because I found that out on tumblr and laughed for DAYS, but still no.

I sat there staring at that blank page, and I wanted to scream...so I did.

I must say this is one of my favorite pages, it was completely impulsive and it's done in all watercolors. It was inspired by Lostprophets-Rooftops which is a awesome song, go listen to it. It reminds me of my little punk days(not that they're over....)

Write One Word Over and Over

TESTIFY! So this is a page I started a million years ago, and JUST finished. It took forever to shade and color in all of the letters, and then fill in all the negative space.

This is inspired by Repo! The Genetic Opera, which is one of my favorite movies. =]

Journal Golf Something Else...

So this was one of those pages where I had already done something on the back of the page (I believe I weaved my paper chain into this page) and so I couldn't really rip it out to play golf with it.

So instead of saying "Oops" I say, whatever, and cut a bunch of pretty paper up and glued it all over and so now it's pretty.

=]

This is why I want to just grab and shake people who say "Oh no I ruined this page, I don't like this page, now I'll throw my journal away and buy a new one." Really there are so many ways you can fix it, you can even copy the instructions on to a piece of blank printer paper and stick it over the page so you can take a second shot at it, but really it's silly to think that you've ruined something meant to be destroyed.

Create A Drawing Using A Piece of Your Hair & Blank Page

I've posted a picture of all of my ripped out hair before, but I wanted to post a picture with the page I accompanied it with.

It took me like an hour or so to copy that font by hand, and I had to squish some letters because I ran out of room haha. But I really think it turned out cool, and goes perfectly together, especially since I tore all that hair from my head.

WTJ2: Lose This Page

So, this is the Lose This Page of my second WTJ, and for this one I actually wanted to lose it.

I found a picture of someone taping their Lose This Page to a balloon and I knew I wanted to do something like that. So I bought a balloon, wrote out a note for the potential finder and I let it go late at night.

Where I live is pretty windy so I hope it got some distance. If I was rich or something I think it would be totally rad doing something like this with my journal and being able to track where it went so I could go reclaim it.

Write Carelessly Now

I started off writing some emotional stuff and then it turned into a creepy pasta... NO REGRETS!

After I wrote it, I smeared it with some mod podge, this is how it looked dry, the mod podge is just shiny.

Doodle Over Top Of...

Since this page was just a direction page I decided to doodle on it as well. I drew a bunch of random things, including a Tard the grumpy cat. I love her so much and I just want to cuddle her!

I also have done all the the things requested on this page so I X'd them out and put a big check mark at the bottom.

Cut Through Several Layers

For this page I used an xacto knife to cut out weird shapes, and for the heart and the puzzle piece I glued the bit I cut out next to them.

Your journal is ungainly good ! I love your blog:) how often do you do your journal and have you done the inside cove yet ? Also do you know any quotes ?

Thank you so much darling! I try to work on it a little every week, but sometimes I slack off. Usually I feel compelled to work on it when inspiration strikes! My inside cover just has some unused sticky tabs and a couple of movie tickets so far, I have some more tickets to paste in but that's all I am doing for it I think, I did do my title page. And you can kind of see the tabs on the inside cover. =]
