@keepsexsexy
If you don’t support aces and aros who are asexual / aromantic because of truama, you don’t support aces or aros at all. Period.
we always say it’s our daughters our wives our sisters who are getting raped, we never say that it’s our sons our fathers our brothers who are doing the raping.
"Consensual sex" is just sex. To say that implies that there is such a thing as "non consensual sex", which there isn’t. That’s rape. That is what it needs to be called. There is only sex or rape. Do not teach people that rape is just another type of sex. They are two very separate events. You wouldn’t say "breathing swimming" and "non breathing swimming", you say swimming and drowning.
If you have a child and they are creeped out by a nephew or older brother touching them or looking at them a certain way, you need to have a serious talk with that person and keep them the hell away from your child. Don’t minimize it or tell your kid to hug them anyway, that kid is picking up danger signals they don’t even understand yet. But so many families will tell that kid they are being a brat.
thankyou
For everyone who's asexual
1.You are not broken.
2.You are not selfish.
3.You are not a prude.
4.You don’t need ‘fixing’.
5.You don’t have to prove anything to anyone. No matter what!
Does Planned Parenthood offer Hormone Replacement Therapy for transgender people?
Someone asked us:
Can Planned Parenthood provide hormones to transgender people? And if so, what are the costs?
Why yes, yes we do. There are an increasing number of Planned Parenthood health centers that offer hormone replacement therapy (HRT) for trans clients. (Cost will vary depending on your insurance and Planned Parenthood health center policies.) Currently, the Planned Parenthood health centers that offer hormone treatment for trans folks are:

If sexual boundaries are crossed, rape is happening. Reblog and raise awareness of consent!
FYI Amazon now sells Plan B emergency contraceptive
This is half or even less the price you’d probably find it in a pharmacy! It’s a really good idea to have it on hand, so you can take it right away if you need to. If your sexual activities put you at risk for unintended pregnancy, consider keeping this in your medicine cabinet!
Here is a resource post for trans women!

Hello there. The following is an incomplete list of Domestic Violence shelters for Queer and Trans* People of Color in all 50 United States. This list will also contain reading resources with tools for addressing abuse and domestic violence in queer communities.

Signal boosting this project that March of Tigers is leading. I won’t reblog the whole list because (luckily) it’s huge but do click through the link and check it out. Also, support March of Tigers by either further helping spread awareness of this resource or by contributing with further data.

The common notion that a person can and should “just give the baby up for adoption” seemed borderline reasonable before my pregnancies. Now I feel slapped in the face with the immense carelessness, cruelty, and arrogance packed into that little word “just.” Many different arrangements work best for particular individuals and families, sure, but just? That erasure of all the physical, social, economic, and psychological costs of pregnancy—especially of difficult pregnancies and pregnancies that aren’t supported and celebrated by our culture—stuns me, now.

Adoption is an alternative to parenting. Abortion is an alternative to birth.

this scene really got me. I think it’s a perfect example of people’s views on abortions.
For 75 years 1000+ children have been sent into the arena to fight for survival for the enjoyment of the richest people. Then along with that there are a million+ children across the other districts living in abstract poverty. All of them too, fighting for survival. The chance for them to move up in the world is virtually impossible because they don’t have the tools to do so and the people above them have kept them down as much as possible.
However the idea that a foetus, a blob of cells, is at risk and suddenly they stand up and protest.
Too much value is placed on the unborn, and not enough on those already alive.

SOMEONE FINALLY SAID THE THING *THANK YOU*
consent is sexy in the same way that not shitting on people’s doorsteps is sweet and neighborly
