What I like is that you can actually edit these posts. So this is going up as a pinned post I guess. (When I get there.)
What I generally do intend to post here are just drawings of things that I like to do - or show off what I like but not limited to:
The Dracosphere project, featuring my personal main species called the Nari (or more commonly for my internal use - Dracoghouls)
Prehistoric animals and personal "paleoart"-inspired works

And there's more. I kinda want to expand and experiment with things that I write.
I work with three major projects - one of them is currently shelved with werebeasts in them set in the early 20th century (Chimeric Chronicles) and two are things I still work, including the Dracosphere.

As I said before: I kind of have a fascination with ghouls and dragons, so you will see quite a lot of that personal interpretation here as I try to figure things out here.
Ghouls are basically well, loosely based on Lovecraftian ghouls with a more animalistic/canine look initially - from the image above, some of the elements of that there still exists in them. Then they got the draconic aspect added and now the whole species is an entire specevo project of itself. They used to be very close to being hive-minded and ex-humans, but now they are just human-sized kobolds with a Permian dicynodont origin.
Of course, there are humans involved in there - as are aliens allied with humans. But I'm currently focused on building their world more than the outside when I do have the time to work on them.
That goes to my workflow. My ideas work kinda stupid and inefficiently. Only when I have a bout of new ideas that I try to work on it. Otherwise, it doesn't exist or hasn't been thought of yet.
And I'm also a bit of an obsessive character designer. I just can't do adoptables even if I have the means to do them - hence I made this guide should.... people somehow make OCs out of them.
They are an open species by art community standards. So if you have a morbid curiosity with them, feel free to make your own. But what I design... its just too precious for me to throw them away XD
What I'm posting here are just some of the examples of work that I make and will likely post. I am trying to do this a bit slow and conservatively at first - aside from broad boundaries and hearsay around this platform of platform rules, I feel like I want to post some things first.
I generally have the strangest pop culture media exposure ever, outside of films - sometimes I would jump from one thing to another spontaneously (from very niche to something wildly popular), so... if its because I'm yapping weird things, then that's probably why. I do watch quite a lot of movies time to time, however. That probably explains why I feel like I don't have time to watch or read things I want to get into.

The first attack in this batch (the pumpkin head character there) became infamous in my head due to unforeseen circumstances. But to summarise: it was a skill issue.
Also attack 87 had some skill issues from me too, did not realise the open hand needed to be flipped! This attack was also one of the more anxious attacks for me as well.
Because I was kind of stressed out by it and the lack of responses, I did debate on whether to post it publicly or keep it till I'm more comfortable of posting it out there. But I realised that some people just don't respond but might do a revenge anyway, so I decided to take the risk anyway. Its just that it took almost four hours and my brain just melted away once I realised I had made a technical mistake and I got too anxious to post it earlier :L
Since I'm starting to prefer Tumblr as a comfort post for Artfight attacks, I might as well play it safe here and post whatever I conjured up from that platform.

This is the third of four references done during vacation in prepping for Artfight 2026. I've done the fourth and last reference now! That will be posted tomorrow.
Backlog intermission posting of stuff I've done during vacation in the leadup to preparing for Artfight 2026. This is the second of fourth (?) of references that were done during that period.
I've finally come back from vacation and realised that I'm pretty behind in what I posted - especially for the reference sheets that I've done for prep in Artfight. There's now eight and one more left to finish (that unfortunately would have to be worked in the early days of Artfight 2026), with three yet to be posted included this one. So now I can finally post the ones I've completed to the platforms I frequent while I passively updated the references of some characters while I'm away.
Because things got a bit hectic with vacation, I'll probably not jump into Artfight right away, instead having this intermission take place.
Got to my fifth revised Dracoghoul character. There's a bit of a retcon with the Crator twins so it makes a bit more sense in a Dracoghoul/Naric context of what "twins" are.
In an alternate canon that I don't develop anymore, they aren't related but they belong to the same den, but I think it doesn't make sense in a "twin context" and that sort of irked me months after they were introduced somewhere as characters and not blank slates. More so, twins within the Dracoghoul species are defined to be unseparated clutch of two eggs (typically one egg is laid per clutch in this species) from the same biological parents, of whom have the strongest social bond because of that. So yeah, the concept of twins, triplets, and vice versa actually exist within the nari - and are socially/culturally significant in a social environment where the species doesn't recognise parenthood from the beginning and instead function under a guardianship model when it comes to nurturing hatchlings.
After that I'm not sure if I would be able to upload more than just one piece for the rest of late June until I get back. I'm going to work on more ref sheets passively, including the other twin egg-sibling that hasn't got a consolidated ref sheet yet (and they keep getting mentioned), updating it as I go, and hopefully I can also sketch out a full rendered scene in June based on an idea I already have in my head, because I honestly don't want this month to be just me working on ref sheets. (And do Smaugust 2026 in advance, mostly in the prep stage)
But yeah, there won't be more posts of ref sheet revisions for a while till I get back.
I'll just put it here in case people would want to find me or something on this platform. Just note that I won't be a lot more active from 17th June until the immediate start of Artfight conveniently enough as I'm taking a trip abroad.
Fourth updated Dracoghoul character in June for once again, Art Fight. Marka is one of the few Dracoghoul characters that I would consider a bit relevant in my eyes of who I'd like to draw someday - but for about two years, he had no concrete reference sheet, so that is now rectified.
There's a few hours left until the team reveal, so I'll be (hopefully) corroborating a profile of that for this year. But I don't know how many I'd be able to finish still. I'm on my fifth as of this writing and I've whittled the number of characters to do down to 15 from 18. We'll see how far I'll be able to do - but most likely I'll have to settle with 8 characters. (I still have one big piece I want to work on - and prep Smaugust 2026 in the background before it spills into July.)
Update (6/14/2026): Earlier version had uncolored shoes. I don't want people mistaking that as literally green (seeing that yellow streak on one of my gargoyle characters that is a hand palm "error" of mine last year is already enough to set some worries), so I immediately rectified it.
The third character that I've decided to revise for this month. I haven't really spoken that much haven't I? Well, its because I just don't feel like doing it that much at the moment. But there's always new stuff and thoughts that come to these refs I guess.
I made this one so that people don't try to mess up - or at least broadly speaking - the crest after workshopping the character for at least a year now; clear crest details are now on here that the previous ref sheet didn't do. Now that I said that, Toal didn't have a character profile on uh Art Fight so that is rectified a few days ago with the intent of updating this.
Prepping priority Dracoghoul characters for Artfight 2026... Since I left it behind the dust and was supposed to work on it in May, but things got in my way, including species sheet and wrapping up my final major project that was meant to be finished at the end of last year. So now I have to play a bit of catch-up until I am unable to get through all of them.
(Ideally I would want at least 18 Dracoghoul characters of mine get V2 references or something better than that, but I realised it ain't gonna be possible and so I'll just focus on those that I like the most.)
Finally got off my chest to do a non-recent Cenozoic mammal character because there aren't enough of them... except for like the other ones that pop up in my head like Andrewsarchus, Daeodon (or more generally "terror pigs" - entelodonts) and Pakicetus.
That's it for this month I think. At least I don't have to do prehistoric/extinct characters anymore for this year. Next month, probably said this 50 times before, I'm going to try and redo Dracoghoul OC ref sheets (after finishing up the refs) for June before I depart. Hopefully key ones too, cos they're sorely dated to me.
I have one more extinct character to go with my goals for the end of May, but it'll be less of a quality character than this one. Starting from June, I'll be fully working on reworking or doing Dracoghoul character refs for Art Fight 2026. (Most likely, with things sprinkled in between if I have a spark of ideas queuing)
