It’s great how Jandy Nelson managed to give Noah a happy ending w/ Brian, find a way to give him a chance to pursue his art career (whilst letting Jude keep her spot at CSA) and manage to fit in Brian and Noah coming out to Noah’s dad all in a span of two pages.

God the play scene is just so beautifully and artistically done , it’s so heart wrenching to watch that scene . The way they got the loneliness and feeling like getting stuck inside yourself, inside this box when you have this huge secret which could destruct your life, so right . The utter feeling of being lonely and yearning for companionship and understanding just captured so well . And another thing is the choice of audience that stays behind to finish the whole play . You expect all the young educated ones to be the only ones to support and the old folks leaving , but here we have a mixture of both leaving and staying back , you have focus on both an old lady and a young girl staying back and being teary eyed by the end showing that love and understanding and acceptance is not an age bound quality nor is it limited to educated folks . truly a must watch movie
