How this inverse of ‘Unforgiven’ shows us the other side of redemption
“Cry Macho,” the inverse of “Unforgiven” and a beautiful meditation on the power of letting go of being something for other people. It is a perfect film for this time of our pandemic.
I enjoyed reading this series. It’s a bit abrupt in the beginning, but I got hooked on it with all the political problems and how powerful the female lead is. Like My Next Life as a Villainess, she is reborn in her otome game except this time instead of living it out, she already reawakens at the “doom” ending. (Poor Iris!) However, once you get further into the story, there is a certain twist that will make you want to keep reading.
