what line are those arcade machines in your photos from? if they are from a toy line that is

They are!   They’re from Konami’s DAC (Desktop Arcade) Series.  They’re 1/12 scale, and require a little assembly.  They made ones for Beatmania IIDX, Pop’n Music, Guitar Freaks/DrumMania, and Quiz Magic Academy.  They pop up on eBay every now and then.

1. Okay~things have been busy so I haven’t posted in a long time but I’m meaning to get back into it soon!  There’s a whole bunch of stuff I haven’t photographed that I want to.

This was a really fun build!  I don’t build Koto too often (my last experience was a really frustrating Armored Core kit) but this was pretty nice.  I’m kinda interested in Marine Kaizer now...and the HMM series as a whole.

Gainer is still a ton of fun even for an older Revo.  I love how you can use his locks for suggesting flowing movement in a direction.

OKAY SO WOW I HAVEN’T POSTED IN A WHILE

HG Barbatos is a wonderful kit.  I love how different and strange the design is--I’m typically bored by the “main” Gundam in most series these days, but not this time.  I built one with minimal stickers and panel lining, just because I like the purity of the colors, and one I did up in gloss black and metallic blue, with a gunmetal inner frame.  Building two also allowed for dual katana/mace weapon loadouts! 10/10 would iron again.

Goddamn that color is perfect

It seriously is, I’m loving it so much.  This is also probably my favorite Armorvor tbh, I’m such a sucker for clear plastic+ metallic paint combos.

The clear blue one was a Kickstarter exclusive, but you can buy bone and GITD versions at OctoberToys.com right now!  I have also heard rumors that they’ll be doing another KS soon, and possibly doing another run of the clear blue, so keep watch at OctoberToys.
