my personal aftg canon rewrite is that andrew cares about his major because he likes to argue against the prison industry. he's straight up arguing for prison abolition in his class of wanna be guards and cops

they think he's like "soft on violent crime" or whatever, but internally he's like "no i say we kill our abusers. no jail needed"
