hmm okay continuing from my last post, i’d like to share my personal opinions (and a bit analysis? hcs?) of kazuha.

please note: personal opinion. if you don’t like it please just scroll down (¯ ‿ ¯٥)

we know there is no canon age currently in genshin, but i think kazuha’s might be a young adult. not to be confused as someone in their late teen, but also not that old. if it’s in number, i’d say he’s in his early twenties.

regarding his character, i think kazuha doesn’t fit to either boxes, rather, he’s somewhere in between “nice” and “guilty”.

kazuha is generally docile, it’s evident in his nature. he’s kind and has a gentle attitude, treating people with tenderness.

despite his usual polite manner tho, he can be intimidating and warring. kazuha can be mysterious if he wants to be, he’s cunning, and he is capable on doing questionable deeds.

i based this on the first time we met him in the game, when he suggested to brand a thief’s forehead with an iron when they stole his friend’s vision. that was somewhat cold and twisted. at first, if i didn’t know the context to it, it sounds like he’s almost enjoying torturing people lololol but of course that’s not the case here. for someone who had been living out in the wild and spent his time wandering around, it’s not surprising if he’s taking an extreme measures to his decisions.

this is not to be confused with his status as an ex fugitive though. i’ve seen people saying that he might have killed people along his journey, but i think that kind of make sense? i mean, if i had people pursuing me i would probably done the same thing. after all, kazuha valued freedom, a complete match to the vision he’s bearing.

regardless, kazuha is still harmless by nature. he’s not the type of person to carry on doing bad deeds with awareness without any reasons. in fact, i think it’s the opposite. if you remember this,

paimon also mentioned that kazuha hesitated for a bit before he threw persikov over his shoulders. showing he is someone who thinks before he acts, even questioning himself firsthand. he has a sense of morality, and held it in regard. anyhow, let’s just say he is someone who has a strong sense of responsibility to make it easier to understand. i would not say much of this anymore.

contrary to the popular belief, kazuha’s pretty cheeky. sure, he’s innocuous, but everyone has a side to themselves that no one would expect, right? bet this guy pulled off pranks on the crews once in a while and nobody has a clue that it was him.

he’s also surely not that lightweight. it was mentioned that he does drink sake. even if he only drinks in normal amount that’s not intoxicating, i’m sure his alcohol tolerance is not that low. (the tavern scene must’ve been a carefully threaded joke venti did that somehow, miraculously, escaped kazuha’s sense, hence why he wasn’t suspicious of the drink and gotten himself drunk.)

living with a bunch of sailors influenced him in some way. it was bound to happen sooner or later really, their traits are starting to rub on him. heck, he’s picking up their vocabulary and slangs, might as well curses like a sailor.

no but seriously, despite his flowery poetic speech patterns, i think kazuha actually speaks normally, at least to some extent. “normal” in kazuha doesn’t seperate him from his usual vocabulary range, but whenever he’s conversing with someone (and especially those who doesn’t know him that much) he’s considerably understandable.

and adding to that normalcy, kazuha does curse. he probably doesn’t curse a lot like beidou (ahem, sailor mouth), but once in a while he’d swears, maybe in a battle where he called the treasure hoarders “bunch of trash” or something like that (although, coming from his mouth, it doesn’t sound like an insult at all), or perhaps beidou smacked his back too hard when they were drinking and he goes, “fuck”, in a low mumble.

and that’s the end of it (or not). i might add later to this in the future, in the meantime, enjoy this… whatever the hell this is.

Tips for kids online

Your house is your business. Don’t share your home address, school name, city, even sharing what state you live in could be risky. There’s no reason for people online to need to know this, there’s no reason for people online to ask for it. This is a red flag

Pictures are worth a thousand words. Take note of what’s in pictures you post. Can you see a state flag? A pet’s collar with a home address on it? Does that screenshot have your phone number in it? Be careful with EXACTLY what you post.

Once you post it, it’s not yours anymore. Anyone on the internet can share a post, take screenshots, repost to other websites, send to other people, etc. Once you post something, what happens to it is out of your hands. Make sure you be careful with what you post.

Face and voice can reveal a lot about you. They can reveal age, agab, in some cases they can be used to determine where you live (accents anyone?) be careful.

Please kids on the internet, BE SAFE. Remember these are strangers. Remember the internet is full of real people with their own motives and intentions. Remember that you can’t control the internet. Please please PLEASE be safe!
