The Bellamy & Brown Family, c. Late May, 1879

On a sunny day just before summer, the union of Theodore Bellamy & Jessamine Bellamy nee Brown was attended by Alpheus Brown, Simeon Brown, & Etta Mae Brown nee Grove at Sageville Wedding Chapel. It was a joyous occasion, and they enjoyed a grand meal at the Bellamy House before the couple eagerly consummated their marriage and began their honeymoon.
