    “Super.. high school level? I imagine that must mean you’re extraordinary at your talent.” She didn’t have any sort of title herself, but it was interesting. If she were to have one, what would that be? Super high school level student council president? A long title, but perhaps a fitting one. Still, the aura she got from Kiibo radiated sincerity and kindness. Makoto didn’t sense any malice.

    “I was only curious. I don’t know enough about programming to ask about your hardware, but you must have been made by someone very talented. I get told I have robotic tendencies myself, but it’s more-so used as an insult.” People who said that to her didn’t harbor nice intents when saying such things. “Are you able to function by yourself like this alright? I can’t help much in that department, but I could certainly try.”

“Yes! That is true!” Finally, it felt like Kiibo stumbled across someone who understood how being a robot was indeed a talent! Numerous times he was told it wasn’t, that simply by existing he earned this title, but there was definitely more to it! It is not as simple as one would imagine! Though, he does realize how strange ‘super high school level’ would sound to someone unaware of the academy. He would happily explain if an individual ever had the question! 

“The professor is very talented, it was an amazing achievement for him! ... How is behaving robotic an insult for you? I.. have had others use it negatively towards me too..” The number of robophobic people was astonishing, he can’t even keep count anymore the number of times he was insulted due to it. It’s not like he can even do anything about it! They all continue to act the same way! “Don’t worry, I’m alright. If there is ever an issue I can resolve it.”

    Miu couldn’t say she missed many of the plebs back from the academy, given a majority of them didn’t pique her interest. She was smarter, prettier, and had more to offer than them in her opinion. Still, she did miss Kiibo. He was fascinating to the Ultimate Inventor. She rather enjoyed the opportunity to upgrade him and the way in which he was assembled was always an entertaining sight to the girl. Thus, when she spotted him among the streets of Spirale, she had to grab his attention. There was no mistaking that body– It was him alright.

    She ran to stand in front of him, cheeks reddening as they stopped to stare at each other. “K-Kiidolt.. Why the fuck did it take you so long to come here? The inventor in me was wondering where the hell you went!” She took a few steps closer, looking him up and down. “S-So.. How have you been holding up? I bet you’ll need lots of upgrades right about now, yeah? I-I mean.. It’s been fucking ages since I’ve gotten a chance to do any. Don’t worry. I’m ready when you are.”

It was safe to say that there were some at the academy who barely tolerated the robots presence, and often had hateful comments. Kiibo would proudly show off upgrades or adjustments preformed on him while some who quickly insult these. He has feelings too you know, and when bluntly dismissing his accomplishments, it hurt. Miu was one of the few people who wasn’t rude to him due to being a robot, which he had deeply appreciated.

“Iruma-san, I’m sorry to have made you worried.” Her reaction made it apparent that she had noticed his absence - which made him a bit happy that at least someone noticed. “I’ve been alright, are you okay? I am functioning fine, but I think we should wait before doing anything else..” He couldn’t help but have in the back of his mind everything that had occurred in the academy, to both of them.

    The mall was full of shops Makoto didn’t particularly see herself shopping in, but it was an interesting place to browse and get some exercise in. She didn’t consider herself exceptionally fashion savvy (although she knew others who were), but she could recognize pieces her friends might like. Perhaps she would have to keep those in mind for when their birthdays rolled around. Still, now was the time for more exploring than anything.

    Exploration included her surroundings, too. One individual that caught her attention didn’t appear human-like at all. He didn’t seem to be anything akin to Morgana, but.. Was he a robot? That was certainly interesting. The student council president wouldn’t be against learning more– Not that she was going to bombard with questions: “Excuse me. I don’t mean to come off as rude, and.. Well, I’m sure you can assume my question. I imagine it’s asked to you often. But.. You are a robot, yes?”

Kiibo has lost track of the number of times this question has been asked to him, it was numerous. There were so many bizarre things, and creatures in this city, and many seemed to think he was categorized like that it seems. He could tell that she held no ill intentions with her inquiry, but if she started being robophobic then he would be cautious. Of course, he had just met this individual after all. 

“Yes, I’m Kiibo, the super high school level robot!” He says with a bit of pride, even though some certain students made fun of him for it. Stating that it wasn’t a talent, that it was simply a fact of his identity. That was just plain rude of them! “Is there a reason you asked? Are you in need of some help?” Asks the robot who has the physical strength of a grandma.

“Kee-boy, heeeey!~” What a nice surprise! Of course Kokichi did notice that his metallic friend was gone for a while. Was he concerned about him? Maybe. Did he miss him? Well, messing with him, yeah! (He was genuinely happy to see him back again, not that he’d make his concern obvious though). 

As a form of welcome back greeting, the supreme leader gave him a hug, or that was at least what it looked like at first… “C’mon, that’s not fair! I would never make fun of you! I would never bully a-” that’s when he took a step back. “Wait, that’s right! You’re not another human being, that’s also why you’re that metallic and cold, huh? Nee-heehee, how have you been though and where were you? Did you need to recharge or whatever?” 

“Gh...!” So, the comments will once again begin. Kiibo never understood why Ouma was so persistent on teasing him about his robotic nature! It was a unique talent that he had been given! It may be true that be doesn’t like there being a difference between humans and robots, especially the rudeness. He just wanted to be like everyone else, and it doesn’t help when others keep pointing out your flaws! 

Surprised was one term used to describe how Kiibo felt when Ouma completed that action. That wasn’t something to happen, until the insults resumed. “I am not cold in senses or feelings! I have emotions that can get hurt from rude comments like these! If you’re actually wondering I’m alright! I don’t take that long to get back to being normal condition! Have you continued this robophibic behavior even with me not here?!”

    She wasn’t sure what she was thinking by listening in on one of Spirale University’s drawing classes. Maybe she wanted to prove others wrong–  No, she did want to try getting better at art. She listened intently at the teacher spoke, trying her best to follow along. Once the instructions were completed, Sara moved her eyes between her own drawing and the one used as an example. Her mind went into dismay as she thought, ‘Urk.. How did I mess it up again?’

    She was seated next to someone who wasn’t human, but nonetheless, they seemed just as invested in the class. As to why, she couldn’t say. Still, they seemed friendly enough: “Hey.. How did your drawing turn out? Mine.. isn’t going so well. What did I do wrong? I followed all the steps and everything..”

This was ... probably not the greatest idea that Kiibo has ever had. He had thought about attending this class to become more creative, as this was something many joked about him laughing due to his robotic nature. However, he was struggling with this ability. Kiibo looked at the people surrounding him, all absorbed within their artwork, while his wasn’t looking as how he had visualized it.

There was a bit of relief hearing the other girl was having problems as well, that he wasn’t the only one finding this a difficult task. “It isn’t appearing on the board as I imagined it either. Maybe we aren’t hearing a step correctly? Starting from the beginning might help.”

“Heehee! It’s a design of my own making. I thought you’d be able to appreciate it, sir.” If there’s one thing living in Spirale has taught her, it’s that there’s a market for selling to computers.

“Now, I’m not sure if it’ll be compatible with your system, but I built it to simulate the taste of actual chocolate. Feel free to try the demo, and if you’d like the full version…”

Hmm. Come to think of it, that price is pretty cheap, and it was fairly costly to make all those chips…

She tacks a pair of zeroes on the end of the price tag, then offers the box again. “It’s 100,000 Dust!”

That was very impressive, for her to be able to design something like this. Surely, she must have given it to others before him. It was a nice way to make everyone feel included - human or not.

Before he ventured into actually trying the invention, he heard the cost. These were 100,000 dust?! It’s not surprise that technology came at a great cost, but that was too much for him! 

“Gh... Isn’t that a little expensive?” Now he’s even worried to try this single one, what if she charges him 100 dust just for it! There’s no way!

While it should not have come as a surprise to Kiibo that Ouma was still around this place, it did a bit. The way that he acted in the killing game, always seeming to be a step ahead of everyone, telling lies to confuse them all, not being able to understand his actions. He seemed like the type to figure out some convoluted plot to leave this city, though that didn’t seem to be the case. Before initiating a conversation, Kiibo had to prepare himself for the robophobic comments that would commence. No matter the circumstance it seemed like he would always be made fun of for whatever he did! There was no way to avoid it! 

“Are you here to say more robophobic comments at me?!”

Even though he was wandering the city once again, there were some noticeable changes. One thing that remained the same was the Fibonacci ward, which had a very unique description. It may appear more ‘normal’ to be a robot traveling in such a high tech area, even if Kiibo didn’t like it. He didn’t like the sci-fi appearances, no way would he want himself to seem like these structures of cyberpunk. While these thoughts arose in his mind, he noticed a girl looking in his general direction. Was she looking around at the structures or at himself? Either way, he decided to inquire. 

“Is there something wrong?”

Kiibo definitely appreciated the thought, he took time out of his day to give a gift! Even if Kiibo couldn’t actually consume the chocolates, he certainly was happy about all of it!

Kiibo was accustomed to receiving gifts of actual food that he was unable to eat, or was made fun of due to this fact. It’s not as though he didn’t wish he could actually enjoy it like everyone else, it just didn’t seem possible. Valentine’s Day was a holiday where there were flowers, and a variety of chocolates everywhere. It may have been a small gesture, but he appreciated the fact that this was something for him, now to contemplate getting a whole box for a bit. 

“Thank you, where were you able to get this?”

here’s the robot boy again! it’s been a while since i’ve written for him, but i wanted to try again! here’s a starter call for now capped at 3 with castmates exempt!

“For saying that you can develop a ‘personality’ or whatever you call it, your description about this place seems pretty dull and generalized!” Would he ever stop mocking Kiibo? Probably not, it was too much fun to see him all worked up by his teasing. But it wasn’t like he truly disliked the robot or anything like that. 

“But, I gotchu. It’s kinda like a normal city. We’re still kind of captured here, since there are limits to how far we can go. Buuut, compared to the academy I guess this is like a bigger ‘upgrade’ to say it in your language!” Another robophobic remark, but after that, Kokichi showed him one of his innocent smiles. “Wanna do something? We could hang up together and I dunno… eat some burgers? Oh wait, I forgot you can’t eat… Nee-heehee, my baaad.” The question if he wanted to hang out, still was genuine, but who knew if Kiibo would actually understand that. 

“Gh...! I do! It’s just difficult to describe a place so large to you in simple words!” When will the teasing ever stop? At this rate, he felt like the time was never going to come. It was insulting when he was reduced simply to being robotic. 

“It’s very different from the academy, but in a couple ways they are similar. In both places there are things we don’t understand, and don’t know when we will.” There were many mysterious of this place, though he would definitely prefer to not have executions or anything that style. “You said that on purpose! There’s no way that you could forget! Have you even been to a place here that serves burgers?!” In a way that’s Kiibo offering if Ouma needed help finding such a place, but he won’t straight up ask with such rude robophobic behavior being exhibited.

“You’re right, you don’t seem like the type of guy to forget things too easily now.” Naturally, the last time Rantaro had seen Kiibo was some time before… his own death. There were a lot of things that he didn’t know about his classmates and about what happened after his passing. Now that Kiibo brought up his memory though, Rantaro couldn’t help thinking about asking the other about all those gaps between their own world and this one. Maybe after some more conversation though, it really was good to see Kiibo again and souring their second first meeting with talk about a game that was in the past already wasn’t the smartest idea. 

“Ah, yeah! There’s a lot of different people here, huh? I gotta say, I thought that the Ultimate Academy had some unique people, but… this place definitely has it beat. It’s taking a bit for me to process, really. How long have you been here? You seem more comfortable, to say the least.” He chuckled. 

“Actually, you got any tips for me? I’ve seen a couple of our classmates around and I’ve walked around for a while, but it never hurts to ask someone a little more experienced, yeah?” 

It was true, Kiibo had a fairly decent memory, at least he thought so.There were many instances back at the academy where he was useful during trials by thinking back to who was in a location or that one time his camera function was the real seal in a trials outcome. He wanted to stop thinking about those times, but it was difficult to. Even though Kiibo had been away from the academy for quite a while now, those thoughts continued to be inside his mind. 

Well, time to stop dwelling on that note. Here Kiibo was talking with a classmate he had missed a lot, can’t let those thoughts bring down the conversation! 

“There are many people here with strange powers and abilities, I did not expect it. However, it seems robophobia is still seen even here.” Would he ever he able to escape it? 

“I’ve gotten closer with some of our classmates, such as Harukawa-san. The people here have a lot of information about various places that I’ve found useful!”

    The response was rather vague given she was looking for a specific place or two, but nonetheless, she wasn’t too bothered by it. Perhaps casually walking towards an eating area would allow Yukiko to become better acquainted with the premises. She nodded her head in response– It was only a matter of time before her stomach would growl again.

    “Yes, let’s! I’ll let you lead the way, then. I’ll speak up if anything catches my eye– Or yours, of course.” She figured she would have plenty of time to try out the different eateries in Spirale, in any case. If she wasn’t a fan of one, an opportunity would arise soon enough to widen her taste palate and test out another.

With that said, Kiibo started to walk down the path. His eyes would be looking for anything within that food style, restaurants were surely to advertise their products in their windows. It shouldn’t be too difficult, at least he thought so. 

They had actually been walking for a bit until he saw a small shop that appeared to have a flier of a ramen bowl in the window. That’s what he thought it was, Kiibo wasn’t too familiar with all the food choices for different cultures. “Should we look in here?”
